“You do.” He smiled. “I wanna chill on this hammock shit too.”

“I definitely want to lay on that,” I agreed. It seemed like it would be relaxing, and I needed it. I was on go all the time at home being a mother, fiancée and business owner. I was truly going to take this time just to recenter and chill.

Me and him talked for a little longer until my sisters came in and rushed us off the phone. They both sat there as I got dressed like I was one of their kids making sure that I didn’t call back.

Once we were all dressed, we headed out. Italy had arranged for a taxi to pick us up. Autumn was up front worrying the man about music, but he didn’t seem to mind. He took us on a mini tour of the bay before we arrived at our yacht for the day.

By the time we made it we were all pretty lit because we were taking shots on the way over. We were all getting out of the car when Autum’s sister Tatum asked, “do you want to come with us? It’s going to be a good time.”

“Tate.” Autumn pulled her sister from the car. “Ignore her. We know you’re working.”

“I could chill.” He shrugged. “I don’t have anything else to do.”

“No.” I shook my head. “We appreciate the ride, but we’ve got it from here. Thank you.” I smiled then grabbed Tatum’s hand, leading us and the group toward the yacht. “No more shots for you, hoe.”

“Ugh, y’all all have men.” She pouted. “Let me have a little fun.”

“When you’re sober and can make informed decisions, I got you boo.” I winked then turned my attention to Italy who was talking with the captain of the boat.

“Italy Latimore.” She fished her ID from her purse. “We’re your passengers for the afternoon.”

He smiled at all of us after taking a peek at her ID then stepping aside to allow us on board.

“I hope you ladies are ready for a good time.”

“No, we hopeyou’reready for our good time.” Sam countered and hip bumped the man before climbing aboard.

All of us went to the main cabin where I was surprised to see that it was decorated. There were LEDs lining the ceiling casting blue lighting over the area. On the back end was a balloon arch with navy blue, tan, and white balloons with a chain of gold ones linked between them. There were also balloons taped on the wall that spelled out ‘Last sail before the veil’. There was a table clearly set up for dinner with matching décor.

Off to the side was a bar lined with bags that had each of their names on them and one for me that had a silver, bedazzled captain’s hat that saidBrideon top of it. The sash that was laying there was silver and matched perfectly with my navy blue swim suit because I had accessorized with silver jewelry and sandals.

“Y’all.” I simpered, looking around the room. I walked deeper in to the room and smiled seeing the four bouquets of blue and white roses on the table, but I was a little thrown off by the large arrangement of red ones in the center. There was a card sticking out, so I grabbed it and immediately smiled seeing that it was from my man.

Did this shit just for that smile you wearing right now. Can’t wait ‘til the beginning of our forever. I love you for eternity, G.

-Ya man.

I blushed after reading his message. I couldn’t believe that I was giving him such a hard time in the beginning. It made me physically sick thinking about how I almost missed out on the feeling that I had right now. Sanchez was everything that I ever needed and we definitely shared the sentiments from the message on the card. I was literally counting down the seconds until I said I do.

“He’s so rugged and sweet,” Tootie said from over my shoulder with her nosy ass. “He had me get them for you because I wasn’t falling for it and telling him where we would be.”

“Let me see.” Munchie tried grabbing the card, but I moved it from her reach. “You let China read it,” she frowned and I laughed.

“No I didn’t.” I playfully rolled my eyes before sticking the card in my purse. “Her ass is just too nosy for her own good.”

Walking over to the counter with our bags, I took the hat from the top of mine and looked inside. There were mini bottles of liquor that had cute little lifebuoy’s on the tops, custom labels with today’s theme, our names, and the location for the trip. Also inside were little hangover kits in custom themed bags. We had hand sanitizer wipes, make up wipes, sleep masks, under eye patches, mini fans, batteries, and more. They really filled our bags up with all of the things we’d need for the trip.

“Alright, are you bitches ready to get this party started?” Sam asked as she pulled two large bottles of Don Julio from her bag.

“So ready.” Jordyn exclaimed. “Put your hat and sash on, Yaya and let me get a picture of you.”

Nodding, I grabbed them and slipped them on before posing for a few pictures and going out to the deck where there was a deejay ready to gear up and get the party started. We spoke with the captain and his team briefly to go over some safety precautions then had a moment with the chef who would be preparing dinner for us later. Finally we went out on the deckso I could take some more pictures to post to my social media before getting lit.

The deejay started the party with Ace’s new single,Shake Sum, and that got everyone activated, even Italy who rarely danced. She could, she just didn’t. China, Sam, Italy and Autumn were up on the railing twerking, and Jordyn, Tatum, and Tres were putting on a show for a smaller boat that was passing us while I recorded all of them.

After posting it on my story, I checked my notifications. I’d posted some of the pictures that I took earlier so I had a sea of likes and comments. I blushed seeing Sanchez’s.

You so fuckin’ fine.
