“Who you in here talkin’ to?” Sanchez asked when he emerged from the bathroom with nothing but a towel around his waist and curly, dripping wet, hair.

I smiled at the sight of his fine ass. “Mama.” I answered. “I was checking on Nairobi.”

“Where she at?” He hurried toward me to look at my phone screen causing both my mother and me to laugh. “She’s playing with her cousins, baby.”

“You bringin’ her through after that, Ms. Africa?” Sanchez asked. “I’m gon’ kick it here for a little.”

“Yes, boy, I am.” She continued to laugh while shaking her head. “I’m so glad you’re taking her on the honeymoon with you because Lord knows you wouldn’t make it otherwise. You two are something else.”

“We just miss her.” My man smiled. “We ain’t ever been away from her this long.”

“We’ll let you go, Mama. I need to tackle his hair, anyway.” I pushed my fingers through his curls. “I love you guys, and we’ll see you soon.”

She returned the sentiment before we disconnected the call and Sanchez was on me right after, pushing me back on the bed and hovering over me.

“You think you slick gettin’ out the shower before me.”

“We don’t have time to fool around, baby.” I smiled and caressed his handsome face. “Go get that little blow dryer so I can get started.”

He frowned but let me up and went to do what I asked while I grabbed the supplies I would need to get him together. It only took a little over an hour for me to finish because the style he’d requested was simple with his signature beads on the ends.

We talked about how much we’d enjoyed our week, mainly because we spent the majority of it together. I was just about vacationed out after all that we had done, plus we still had a week in St. Maarten coming up. When we got back from that, I’d probably sleep for seventy-two hours because I knew I was going to be completely worn out.

When I finished his hair, he requested that we get in the infinity pool on the private balcony. I didn’t decline because I wanted to relax. It was cooling down some due to it being a little later in the evening, so it was the perfect time. I was going to put on another bikini to get in, but Sanchez requested that we go without them after locking the door to the bedroom I was staying in.

“Tomorrow’s going to be so busy.” I said once we were settled in the pool with him seated on the underwater bench and me straddling him.

“Facts. Sam gon’ be helpin’ you with everybody hair and shit?” He asked because although Sam wasn’t an actual stylistyet, she was my assistant and we’d been tackling heads together since we were in school. I was working on making her get her license.

I nodded as I raked my fingers through his beard. “So that means it won’t take so long.”

“What time we gotta rehearse?” He asked causing me to pause my movements and frown.

“Sanchez, how do you not know that?”

He chuckled and hugged my body close. “Knew you was gon’ get a fuckin’ attitude.”

“What time do we rehearse?”

“I know the time.” He tried leaning in to kiss me, but I pushed his ass back.

“Tell me then.”

“Kenya…” He glared at me, but I didn’t care.

“Sanchez…”

“At nine, G.” He laughed. “Got damn, love, you too serious.”

I relaxed into his body again. “I just don’t want you to get cold feet or anything like that.”

“Cold feet?” he repeated. “Fuck you mean?” I went to explain myself but he cut me off. “I know what cold feet is, love, I just don’t know why you think my shit ‘bout to be cold when we both know this wedding is whatyouwanted. I would have married yo’ fine ass in the courthouse by now. You know that.”

“You wanted a wedding too.” I grinned.

“Yeah I wanted whatever was gon’ satisfy you.” He said and kissed me. “Anything to make you happy baby.”

“Can you believe we only have two more wake ups until it’s official?”
