“Nothing… Mars,” she hissed, cheeks burning.

My jaw ticked.

A little jealousy kicked up, low and hot in my chest—because I knew how Mars got down.

Lex ran in circles I didn’t care to roam, and Mars’s…munching proclivities… had a reputation that stretched even into them elite-ass spaces. Add to that the way she acted around Stacia, and yeah—my mind went exactly where it shouldn’t.

They were fucking. I was sure of it.

Zoe damn near lost her shit when Ayesha told her Mars and Stacia slept in the basement the night I showed up during their little girls’ night. Zoe still hadn’t told me the full story, which told me all I needed to know.

“We didn’t do anything,” Zoe blurted, aiming it straight at me like she could feel where my head went.

I leaned back, narrowing my eyes at her. Not saying shit. But thinking everything.

“Wait a minute—what’s going on?” Ayesha chimed in, side-eyeing both of them now.

“Nothing, Ayesha,” Zoe shot back, shutting her down just like that. “Can we just… all chill?”

“Yeah… soon as he sit down,” Stacia cut in, motioning toward the couch. “Pick anywhere.”

She fluffed one of the pussy pillows near her, grinning.

I smirked. Nah. Not the couch.

I walked straight to the accent chair—the one with the fat, soft velvet clit pillow front and center.

Sat down slow.

Couldn’t help the dirty grin that spread across my face… thinking how Zoe’s looked the same way whenever I sucked on it too long… and it swelled up just like this.

“This shit look like yours,” I said, turning the pillow around so Zoe could see it before tossing it to the side.

Her gasp hit the air right as her friends busted out laughing.

“Kentrell!” Zoe’s eyes narrowed on me, her cheeks flushing pink.

I smirked and shrugged.

Shit… it was the truth.

“See! Look at you, staying loyal to his ass,” Mars cut her eyes at Zoe, shaking her head. “I ask how big it is, and the first thing he do is tell the whole room what the kitty look like.”

Zoe pinched her lips tight, rolling her eyes like she didn’t want to laugh with the rest of them… but I caught the smile trying to creep out.

“I ain’t tell the whole world,” I said, ignoring Mars’s size comment and locking eyes with my baby. “I was talking to my shorty… y’all just happen to be in the room.”

“Stop,” Zoe mouthed, shifting behind the couch like she could hide that little squirm she gave me.

“Come here,” I mouthed back, giving her a slow head nod toward me. Her eyes flickered—quick burst of excitement—before darting left toward Ayesha, who was watching us like a hawk.

“Mars, why are you looking like that?” Stacia cracked up, pulling my attention away from Zoe.

“I just—” Mars had that goofy, love-sick smile plastered across her face. “Look. I stand behind what I said. I believe Zoe.”

She melted deeper into her cushion like she’d said something profound.

The other two—especially Ayesha—sounded off at her quick.
