I pulled back… drove in again… and again.

The slap of skin meeting skin echoed over the water.

Every time she moaned… I answered with a deeper stroke.

Every time she whimpered my name… I held her tighter.

Her legs started shaking about two minutes in, her knees buckling just a little with every push forward.

“Keep it up for me, baby…” I whispered, dragging my lips across her shoulder, biting down just enough to make her gasp.

“I’m trying,” she panted, her voice breaking on the edges.

I slid one hand down between her thighs… rubbing her exactly how she liked while still driving into her slow, heavy, deliberate.

“That’s it… good girl… take this dick… just like that,” I growled, feeling her clench around me so tight I had to grit my teeth to keep from busting right there.

The sound she made when she came…

Man…

Her whole body locked up… then unraveled in my hands.

Her moans turned into soft little cries, her head dropping forward, water running down her back like it was trying to cool her off, but it wasn’t enough.

I didn’t let up. If anything… I went harder. Holding her by the waist… pulling her back into every stroke like I was tryna leave my name inside her. I felt that build creeping up on me…Thattight pull low in my stomach…That heat running down my spine like warning shots…

And when I got there…When it finally hit…I locked both my arms around her waist, buried myself all the way to the hilt… and let go. Filling her. All the way. Every last drop.

Holding her close, letting my forehead rest between her shoulder blades while I stayed inside her, riding out every slow pulse, every twitch… every wave until there was nothing left.

We stood there like that… both of us shaking… both of us quiet except for the sound of the water hitting the floor.

My hands slid back up her sides, smoothing over her stomach like I could already feel our daughter growing there.

“I love you,” I said, voice low, still catching my breath.

She tilted her head just enough to look back at me, her eyes soft, lips swollen.

“I love you, too.”

And just like that…

I knew I’d give her this…and everything else I had to give.

Over and over…

For the rest of my life.

The smell of greens, sweet potatoes, mac and cheese, and every other damn thing you could want on a holiday plate filled the air like a hug that wouldn’t let up.

Caldwell Manor had never been this full… this loud… this alive.

My family. Her family.

People who probably never thought they’d be under the same roof… eating off the same plates… sharing the same air.

And yet… here we were.
