I jerk my surprised gaze to his. “What?”

“Did you think we would walk out of here without me doing the same?” he drawls huskily. His hands reach for his suit jacket as he shrugs it off before moving on to unbuttoning the shirt while I gape.

“You’re getting my name inked?”

“You got mine,” he replies, before teasing, “I’m also making up for being an ass and not calling you Iris sooner.”

I chuckle, shaking my head. It dies quickly when his bare and ripped chest and abdomen come into view, making me swallow the thick ball of lust. Those chiseled abs that I’m yet to explore will be the death of me.

Once he’s naked from the waist up and puts his clothes away in the corner, he returns to my side with my skirt.Lowering me to my feet, he kneels and helps me into it, carefully concealing the bandaged tattoo.

Callie, who apparently has perfect timing, walks back in.

I take the stool where Kian sat, while he lies down on the bench. My spine snaps straight, and my vision goes red when she touches his pecs to sanitize the area like she did mine.

She’s a lesbian.

A lesbian.

Don’t stab her with the needle.

Even though she’s doing her job and is uninterested in my man, I’m still torn, staring at her hands roaming freely over him. For God’s sake, she’s about to permanently write my name on his skin.

Calloused fingers grasp my chin and force my gaze onto lightly amused yet turned-on eyes, calming me down with one tender look. Raising my palm to his mouth, he kisses it until I smile.

Callie peels away the stencil, revealing the drawing of Kian’s design.

The green-eyed monster vanishes as my mind is blown away. My heart somersaults behind my ribs as I stare, unblinking.

In the middle of his defined pecs, Iris is written in capital letters with the backdrop of a rainbow. Unlike mine, it’s big and bold, so there’s no missing my name.

I never knew my menacing lone wolf could be a romantic at heart.

A happy tear slides down my cheek and I quickly brush it away.

“It’s gorgeous,” I compliment, my voice shaky. The lettering is done with a flair to make them pop out against the colors of the rainbow.

“Doing tattoos for couples is my specialty,” Callie replies with a wink. “I think it’s the most beautiful expression of love and devotion.”

My pulse skips a beat at the mention of love. The gray in Kian’s pupils darkens too as he feels my pulse on the inside of my wrist, raising goosebumps on my flesh.

If we were alone, he’d be devouring me right now.

The loud whirring noise of the needle fills the silence. Kian doesn’t even flinch when Callie presses it against him and begins to tattoo him. Soon, the noise becomes a hum in the background as I become mesmerized by watching the bright colors of the rainbow come to life.

It takes several hours before she finishes with a flourish and puts down the machine. She moves to bandage it like she did mine, but Kian stops her.

“I need you to do one more tattoo,” he says in the tone that bids no argument. Not even Callie is immune to it.

“Sure. Where and what?” she asks.

Turning over his left arm, he points near his wrist. “Here.”

Curious, I flick my eyes toward the spot he’s showing to her and proceed to turn red from head to toe as heat creeps up to my cheeks.

My teeth imprint where I bit him in the throes of my orgasm.

Is he seriously going to—
