“I don’t know what you’re talking about. We never had this conversation.”

“Now see, Vada. Right now I like this side of you.”

“And what side would that be?” She bats her long lashes and shoots me this sexy little smile.

Fuck me. “The real you. Not this uptight bitch with a stick partially up her ass who snubs her nose at my dog and bar.”

“To be fair Tater is not a damn dog and I’m not uptight. You just piss me off like every five minutes.”

“Says you.”

“Says I don’t know Mother Nature.”

“It’s more like every three minutes, but who’s counting?”

“You’re impossible.”

“Impossibly irresistible.”

“Everything is about sex with you.”

“That’s not true. Sometimes I think about other things.”

Her nose does that cute scrunch. “Like what?”

“Don’t ask me. I can’t tell you what goes through my mind while I’m sleeping.”

She shakes her head and the door swings open. Chaser along with a few other brothers from my club walk in. Fucker has another thing coming if he thinks he's going to make a play to tap Vada. I don’t want the added drama for one but part of me wants her for myself.

“Why don’t you finish your lunch in the office.”

Vada turns toward the group as they get seated at the bar. “I’m good.”

“Wasn’t a suggestion.”

“This one of those times you’re going to tell me it’s club business?”

“You catch on quick.”

“Whatever,” she huffs, moving to gather her food and drink.

“Don’t forget the key.” I unhook it and her eyes go big as I tuck the key in the front left pocket of her shorts, shoving my hand further in than necessary, knowing Chaser is watching, making my point. Vada is off limits to him and any other Black Rebel Rider other than me.

“Thanks.”

“Don’t mention it.” I lick my lips and watch her strut past my brothers, swaying them hips, hypnotizing every single man with her sweet ass.

“Hey, Vada.” Chaser gives her a chin lift and a flash of his teeth.

“You following me?”

“Maybe.”

Her cheeks tint a pale shade of red and my hands ball into fists. Fists I’m going to smash his face in with if he doesn’t cool it.

I toss my wrappers in the trash and move behind the bar to fetch their beers. I flick the bottle caps off with the bottle opener that’s mounted to the backside of the bar. I set Chasers in front of him last. “I like her.” He gives me a shit eating grin.

“You’ll stay the fuck away from her.”
