The main road ran through town, and it was a road Brandi had to travel on to and from each time she saw her dad.

I had lucked out because I had seen her, but she never saw me.

It was like peeling at a healing scab; stupid, but unable to stop.

I had gotten into a biker gang; I never said my ass was super fucking smart.

With a sigh, I looked around at the lone cabin and swore.

She was in my thoughts because her birthday was coming up and she’d be coming around this way soon enough. But for some damn forsaken reason, I couldn’t shake her this year. She was like some damn fucking crazy ghost, haunting a house she had never set foot in.

I needed to leave.

At least, if nothing else is in this place, there was a bar that served fresh cold beer, some of the finest. And folks knew that unless I talked to you, they needed to leave me the fuck alone. And they did.

With that, I grabbed my keys, locked up the house, and then jumped on my bike, my baby. That was the one thing I could and would not give up.

Of course, I had to create a whole new baby when they stole my other bike, but she was worth it. She gleamed as if she was new, and everyone watched me with envy when I came by. I didn’tmake her from scratch for looks, it was a hobby I enjoyed, but it didn’t hurt when they stared.

Within minutes, I made it down to the bar, kicked the stand down on the bike, and climbed off. A group of ladies climbing out of a truck gawked as I got off, their eyes glued to the tattoos, muscles, or anything else I had on display.

As pretty as they were, and they were stunners, they did shit for me. Sadly, no one but my hand felt my dick thanks to Brandi and that damn kiss that turned my life upside down. She killed me for any other woman. Believe me when I said I fucking tried but nope, couldn’t stay hard long enough. Of course, women still got the pleasure, just not in the way they wanted.

I don’t know what it was over this woman that fucked me up, but something did.

Again, I didn’t regret it. Just wish it was with anyone but her.

Why my heart flipped over itself for the off-limits daughter, I didn’t know, probably never would either. Because that night, I had to believe it was a test, or some bullshit. There was just no way that woman saw me the way I saw her, not when I was almost as old as her dad.

“Beer,” I told the bartender, taking a seat at the bar. He nodded, grabbing a glass, then slid it down my way. I grabbed it, taking a deep drink, just as the door opened.

All heads turned to see, and my eyes just about popped out of my head.

Because who was standing there, looking around?

None other than Brandi, my fucking Vixen.

***** Vixen *****

I screamed as my bike stuttered, then stopped moving, smoke billowing from the bottom of it. This couldn’t fucking be happening! My dad would kill me if I was late.

I couldn’t fucking call him either, because he would for sure kill me three times over for that. In fact, that would probably be a brutal way to go.

Why?

He would know the reason why I took this road, or at least he would have a clue, and then all hell would break loose.

All because of one man.

Yeah, I knew what happened a few years ago with a man that I had the biggest crush on. I had just hoped that he’d be willing to stand up to my dad, to take me away from all the violence, the sex, the unknown abuse, the people trying to use me, but he didn’t.

Not that I didn’t understand the way biker gangs worked.

Instead, I made the first move, and almost got his ass tossed in the trash. Not that it was my goal. I just wanted him and was tired of fighting it.

Thank goodness someone found him and saved him. And thank goodness it was by pure luck that I knew where to even look for him.

Granted, he didn’t know I was looking. But I had seen him from afar the first time I came through this town, and it helped my aching heart.
