“You have, which is why I’m acting this way.” He kissed the top of my head and then nuzzled his face into my neck. “Today, you smell like peaches. Is that because you know it's my favorite fruit?”
“Don’t flatter yourself,” I said as I tried to move away from him.
Pyrite grabbed my chin, making me look at him, and smiled down at me. “Damn, you’re beautiful,” he said, then kissed me. Even though I didn’t want my body to respond to his touch, I was on fire. He deepened the kiss, and I bit into his bottom lip to try and show him that his touch did nothing to me. He pulled back, sucked his bottom lip into his mouth, and gave me a lopsided grin. “I’ll be back.” Pyrite stood, brushed a piece of hairfrom my face, then turned to his friend. “G, you ready to fall in love?”
“Fuck nah,” G replied, shaking his head. “Especially if she’s anything like your woman. I like calm women, that crazy shit is not for me.”
“You sure?” Pyrite laughed as they walked out of the kitchen. “I got a homegirl that would turn your world upside down.”
“How did you meet her?” I heard G ask.
“We did a little time in the asylum together,” Pyrite answered. It sounded like G kissed his teeth, but I wasn’t sure. “She’s good people, though, her and all the voices!”
“I have to pee,” I said, kicking at Pyrite as he lay on the floor in front of me. After his friend G, whose real name I learned was Gift Blackmon, left us alone, Pyrite made a pallet on the kitchen floor and lay there until he fell asleep. He rolled to his side and had the nerve to snore louder. “Pyrite!”
“What is it, Itty Bitty?” he asked without opening his eyes.
“I have to pee,” I said. I kicked the leg that he stretched near me. “Get your ass up and uncuff me.”
“Yeah, see, that’s going to be a problem,” he laughed as he sat up. It pissed me off how good he looked right now. Sleep was heavy on his face and voice, yet the only thing I wanted to do was kiss him until I suffocated.
“What’s the problem?” I asked as I narrowed my eyes at him. “If you say you don’t have the key, I’m going to kick you in the balls.”
“First off, stop talking nasty to me this early in the morning; my dick is already hard as it is.” He grabbed his dick through his shorts to show me, and I had to squeeze my legs together. Pyritenoticed my movements and chuckled. “You horny, Itty Bitty?” his hand went to my calf, and I tried to snatch it away.
“Stop touching me,” I scolded him.
“Or what?” he challenged with a laugh. “You gonna hit me again?”
“Uncuff me, and let’s see what happens.” I pulled against the cuffs.
“Stop before you hurt yourself,” he demanded, and shook his head.
“Then let me out so I can go pee,” I said as I stopped pulling against the cuffs.
“You promise not to fight me?” he said, standing and stretching his arms over his head. His dick strained against his shorts, and I licked my lips. I thrashed against the chair in frustration. “Throwing a little fit ain’t gonna make me move faster.”
“Damn it, Pyrite, just let me out,” I demanded. “I want out of here! Away from you! I want to go home! Back to Texas!”
“I already told you no,” he said, shaking his head. “I don’t know how many other ways I have to tell you that you aren’t leaving me.” He bent so that we were eye to eye. “Ever. You aren’t ever leaving me, Fable.”
“Why?” I yelled. “Huh, why can’t I leave?”
“You know the answer to that,” he chuckled. He kissed me, pushing his tongue into my mouth, and I couldn’t do anything but return the kiss. He didn’t pull back until I was moaning and trying to grab onto him. “Now, let’s get you to the bathroom.”
He pushed the chair out of the kitchen and toward the back of the house, where his office was. When we got to the room, he pushed the door open, and I slammed my feet into the floor to stop the chair.
“No!” I said, shaking my head. Since I’d been here, the only room I was never allowed into was his office, and now he wastaking me there. What did that mean? Why were we going in there? His house has plenty of other bathrooms I could use.
“What is the problem now?” he sighed and turned me around to face him.
“I don’t want to go in there,” I said, shaking my head. “Take me to any other room, but not in there.”
“Why?” he asked, looking from his office to me.
“You said I can't go in there; that room has been off-limits since I got here.” I kept shaking my head because I wanted him to see how serious I was. “Take me somewhere else!”
“It’s just my office, Itty Bitty; it’s set up just like my office at the arena,” he chuckled.
