“Nitro’s is the biggest.”

“How would you know? You’ve never seen it.” I put my hands on my hips because I’m ready to throw down with this bitch. I’m so sick of her shit. Although I’m still only a guest here, she’s making my life miserable with her constant stream of innuendos. I’m over it.

“He lied to you. I’ve had him in every way a woman can have a man.” The evil look in Crystal’s eyes isn’t enough to scare me into backing down.

“You’re a fucking liar.”

“Shut the fuck up, you stupid cunt!” Crystal’s on her feet, stalking toward me. “He was going to be mine until you came along. You fucked it all up. You and your ‘poor me’ innocent bullshit. Bitches like you should know your place. I’m sure your husband had good reason to kick your ass.”

I swing my fist, smashing it into her face. Daisy gasps behind me. Footsteps pound down the hall. I ignore all of it and slam my other fist into Crystal’s stomach. All the rage I’ve kept bottled up inside explodes. I punch her in the nose, breaking it. Blood spurts across the tile floor, but that doesn’t stop me. I’min the process of throwing a right hook when someone grabs my arm.

“Let go of me!”

I yank free then tackle Crystal to the ground. She’s screaming. The guys are screaming. I’m screaming. It’s total fucking chaos, but I don’t give a single fuck. For years, I’ve stood by while people like Jeff treated me like shit. I didn’t do anything to defend myself. Crystal’s not going to get away with it. I’m going to make her pay on behalf of all of them.

“Stop her,” Scar says to Nitro.

“No. Don’t. It’s kinda hot,” Reaper says.

“Uh, yeah, but I think she’s going to kill her,” Talon says.

“Chick fights are pretty hot,” Matrix says to Reaper, who nods in agreement.

“Babe? Kitten? Calm down, honey.” Nitro’s voice is the only one that finally gets through to me. He comes up behind me and wraps me in a bear hug. “Okay. That’s enough.”

“That bitch! You don’t know what she said. I’m going to fucking kill her!”

“What’s going on in here?” Nina and Julia stroll in from the living room. I didn’t realize they were here. I didn’t even hear the front door open.

“Get the popcorn. Chick fight,” Matrix says.

“What are they fighting about?” Julia asks.

“She’s a bitch. She says she’s fucking Nitro, and that’s a lie. It’s not fucking true. He’s never touched you,” I holler at Crystal. She’s still on the ground, cowering, using one arm to shield her face.

“Pack your shit,” Scar says.

“I’m sorry. You’re right. I’ll go,” I mumble.

“Not you. Her.” Scar points to Crystal. “I’ve been watching the way you treat everyone. You’re done here. Tucker’s going to drive you back to town. I don’t want to see your face around thebar, the clubhouse, or anywhere near Holly and Nitro. If I catch even a whiff of your presence, we’ll have to teach you a lesson. Got it?”

“Fuck you! I hate you all. I hope your clubhouse burns to the fucking ground.” Crystal climbs to her feet and stomps down the hall toward her bedroom. Tucker follows closely behind.

“Did you break anything?” Scar asks me.

I tentatively flex my hands. Other than soreness, it’s not too bad. “I don’t think so.”

“Next time, use the heel of your hand like this.” Scar demonstrates the correct way to jab. “You’re less likely to shatter the fine bones in your fingers, and you’ll get the maximum force behind each hit.”

“Thanks for the tip.” I grin sheepishly.

“When are you going to make her your old lady?” Matrix says, eyeing me with a new level of respect.

“Oh, stop that.” Nina swats him before turning to me. “Wash the blood off your hands so we can get going. Also, you should probably change. Daisy, would you be a dear and put stain remover on the bloody spots before you wash that dress?”

“Of course. Glad to help.” Daisy beams.

“See, she’s the good one. I told you,” Nina says to Scar.
