It’s fascinating to watch these men interact. It’s a different world than the one I’ve known, but it seems more sincere. In Vapor’s world, people are up front about how they feel. They don’t hide their likes and dislikes. They live with the freedom to be who they truly are, and they don’t care if someone doesn’t approve of their lifestyle. I love that.

One of the Underground Vengeance MC’s prospects pulls up in the club’s SUV. His young, eager face pops out the driver’s side window.“Where do you want the stuff, Pres?”

“Load it on the boat,” Vapor says.

“Aye aye, captain!” The prospect salutes.

“Prospect?” Hunter asks, chuckling.

“Obviously,” Vapor snickers.

The prospect hops out and starts to unload our supplies onto the boat. While he’s busy doing that, Vapor and Hunter catch up on some club gossip. I never thought men gossiped as much as women, but when it comes to club life, apparently there’s a lot of drama. Not just the dangerous kind either.

There’s lots of talk about who’s sleeping with who and why, which makes me a bit uncomfortable. Although Babet reassured me that Vapor hasn’t touched one of the club girls since we met, I’m still not entirely happy about having them around. It’s something I’m going to have to get over because I can’t expect Vapor to send them all packing. The single guys seem to enjoy having them around, so that’s not something I’ll be able to change. I’ll just have to trust Vapor.

When the prospect’s done unloading everything, Vapor thanks him then says,“Don’t forget. Four days from now, you’re picking us up.”

“Got it, Pres,” the prospect replies, nodding.“I’ll be here waiting.”

As Vapor and Hunter climb onto the boat, I can’t help but marvel at how far I’ve come since meeting Vapor. He’s introduced me to so many new experiences, and for once in my life, I feel alive and free. My heart races with the promise of adventure and the unknown. The motorcycle ride may have been dangerous, but it was only the beginning of our adventure, and something tells me this is going to be one hell of a ride.

“Ready to set sail, Blue?” Vapor asks, his blue eyes twinkling with excitement.

“Absolutely! Let’s do this.” As I step onto the boat with Vapor’s strong hand guiding me, I can’t help but feel a rush of anticipation.

Sunlight glints off the water, casting shimmering reflections that dance across the marina. I’ve never been on a boat before, but the prospect of sailing toward Horn Island fills me with exhilaration.

“This is really your first time on a boat?” Vapor asks as he gets me settled in the seat beside him.

“Yes.” I smile.“I can’t believe I’ve never done this before. My mother always claimed to be seasick, so we never went on cruises.”

“Don’t worry,” he grins,“I’m going to show you everything you’ve been missing.”

Hunter starts the engine, and a low rumble vibrates through the vessel. I jump and scoot closer to Vapor, who laughs and wraps an arm around me.

“Hold on tight, we’re heading out!” Hunter shouts over the noise.

I grip the railing as we speed away from the shoreline. The salty breeze whips through my hair, making me wish I’d pulled it into a ponytail before we left. Oh, well. I can’t always tame it and I doubt Vapor will care.

The thrill of being in the open ocean is palpable. Vapor’s smile is so damn sexy, I can’t look away. His eyes darken with desire as he leans to kiss me. When our lips meet, my core goes molten. I can’t keep my hands off this man, and he can’t stop touching me either. The connection we share is magnetic.

“Enjoying yourself?” Vapor asks, his eyes sparkling with mischief.

“More than I ever thought possible,” I admit, my heart pounding in my chest.

The journey to Horn Island takes forty minutes, but it feels like mere seconds as I drink in the sights and sounds of the ocean. As we approach the island, the boat slows, and the captain expertly guides us onto the beach.

“Welcome to your home away from home,” he announces.

“Four days,” I murmur.

“I wish it could be longer, but that’s all we’ve got,” Vapor says as he helps Hunter unload our gear.

“See you then,” Hunter calls, returning to the boat and motoring away.

As the sound of the engine fades, I take in the windswept landscape. We’re truly alone here, surrounded by nothing but sand, sea, and sky. It’s both thrilling and terrifying, knowing that for the next few days, it’s just Vapor and me. Alone. Together.

“Let’s set up camp,” Vapor suggests, his strong arms easily hefting our supplies.
