"I'mgoing to make you regret that,"Keirtold him.

Finjust laughed. "Andnow you're unknowingly following inHarper'sfootsteps,Rain.Flirtwith one pure-blood while hooking the other?"

"Torian'sa dick,"Itold him, stopping that before it could even start. "Aspen'smy friend.Bestfriend.I'mtrying to decide ifHawkeandWilderare worth my time yet."

"Hawke'spretty cool,"Daivonassured me. "Intense, but not a bad guy."

"He'sgot some wicked moves,"Branagreed. "Kicksmy ass on a regular basis."

Ijust pointed around the table. "Soare all of youLegaciesor something?"

"Nope," they assured me, butPascalwas nodding.

"Iam," he admitted. "Ifthe stars align,Imight be able to fizzle something.Mymagic's so weak, it doesn't even count."

"Enticer,"Finsaid with a smirk.

ThenKeirtook over. "DaivonandAxelareGlamours,Bran'sanEnchanter."

"Andyou?"Iasked. "BecauseI'venever seen you in your uniform.Notie to tip me off."

Keirchuckled. "Yeah, um,Irate as aConjurer, butIpromise it's not impressive.Minorhealing, and the rest is all defensive."

"Wickeddefenses,"Axelcorrected. "Keir'stalent is dispelling.Whatabout you, new girl?Whatcool tricks can you do?"

"Completelymagicless,"Iadmitted, pretty sure that wasn't what he was asking about. "Noteven a flicker of light."

"Heardyou got in as a favor toLiam,"Finsaid. "Andsince he's never going to have kids..."

"Fuckoff!"Keirsnapped. "Seriously,Fin?Couldyou be more of a dick?Thisis whyInever bring girls around.Youmake sure to chase them off."

"No, you just sneak them down to theNever,"Finshot back, flicking up both brows. "Trustme,Rain, if he asks you to go downstairs, just do it.Can'thear the screams from down there."

Ismiled and leaned over the table toward him. "Virgin, huh?"

"What?"Finasked.

Butthe rest of the guys were losing it.EvenKeir.Iwas struggling not to smile. "Imean, that's usually why a guy is so completely oblivious as to when he's making an ass out of himself - or his friends."

"No..."Fintried, looking over toKeiras if he expected help.

Keirwas still laughing. "Youare all on your own, man.Iwarned you she's something else.Nowdo you believe me?"

"Bigtip,"ItoldFin. "Whenyou finally do get a girl to talk to you, she doesn't want to know about the others you've chased, fucked, or failed at impressing. We'renot conquests,Fin.We'realso not here for your amusement."

Finjust stared at me, his eyes narrowing.DaivontappedPascal'sshoulder, flicking a finger atFin.Keir'sjaw clenched and he glared atFinin warning.Somethingwas happening, butIwasn't sure what.Confused,Ilooked between the guys, desperately trying to get some hint.

ThenKeirslapped his hand down on the table, making all of the guys jump. "Layoff,Fin."

"It'snot fucking working,"Fingrumbled. "Iwas just going to make her squeal like she was getting off, butIcouldn't get into her head."

"What?"Iasked.

Keir'scomplete attention was on his suitemate. "Ifyou fuck with her mind at all,Iwill kill you.Stopand listen to that again,Fin.Kill.I'mpretty sureAspenwould help me make sure you disappear, so donottry your tricks with her."

"Wasjust a joke,"Fingrumbled.

ButAxelsucked in a breath. "Andshit just got real."
