He did the sweetest things for me and I couldn't do anything but thank him.
"This is so beautiful." We finally let each other go and looked into each other's eyes.
"Thank you." I expressed and he nodded slowly.
"Ain't no thing, baby." He smirked, trying to play it cool with his too cool self.
"I love you." I expressed to him and he wasted no time, leaning in to kiss me. The kiss was wild and sloppy and we'd ended up falling on the couch because of it.
When we did, we looked into each other's eyes, knowing we both wanted it but we didn't go there. We both knew it would be too confusing right now so we simply just didn't go there.
He got off of me, standing to his feet as I did the same.
"How about I pour us some wine and we gon' head and talk in the dining room." He said and I nodded slowly, still wanting to jump all over him.
"Okay." I agreed, letting him lead the way as I followed close behind.
Walking into the dining room, we both took a seat after he poured our wine.
"You look so handsome." I spoke softly, admiring his features under this candlelight and he smirked, looking down.
"Na' that's you. You look edible, ma." He flirted back with me, looking into my eyes.
"Well, I am."
"So..." I trailed off, making him raise an eyebrow.
"Oh yeah?" He asked, taking a sip of his wine and I nodded slowly, staying silent.
"We gon' see."
"Let's talk though before I really come across this table and get that shit." He spoke quickly, trying to change the subject and I agreed.
"Okay, lets talk.." I trailed off.
"This gon' be an open discussion. Aight?" He asked and I nodded.
"We can say or ask whatever we want and neither of us can get mad about it."
"..or leave." He spoke sternly.m, obviously firing shots at me.
"We gon' talk and we gon' resolve. After that, everything we talk about, all the bad shit, it's over with. It's done."
"Once we leave this table ain't no arguing about it or speakin' on it."
"That shit done." He spoke sternly and I nodded in agreement.
"Okay." I spoke, already preparing questions in my mind.
"Aight."
"You go first. Ask or say whatever you want, ma. I'm gon' listen and answer whatever question you have."
"Truthfully."
"Okay." I nodded, sitting up straight.
We sat there in silence awhile as I thought long and hard about my questions. There were so many, I didn't know which ones to ask first.
