"Baby, don't run from me."

"Come here." He told me, dusting his hands off before coming over to where I was.

I looked up into his eyes as tears fell from mine, I knew that this would end badly but I was prolonging it because I really couldn't do this.

"Look, T. I don't know what the fuck gon' on' but whatever it is.." He trailed off.

"I'd never hurt you or even go there witcha like that." He expressed, looking over to the gun on the bed.

"For you to just take my gun out my pants let me know that this shit serious and I really need to hear that because na' my mind all over the place, baby."

"And I don't want to start thinkin' or accusing you of shit because we both know that's dangerous." He went on, making me look down.

"Na' tell me what's up with you." He said again for the final time and I took a deep breath.

Staying silent, I placed my hands on both sides of his face as I leaned in to kiss his lips. I deepened the kiss, pushing my tongue into his mouth, making him groan.

"T." He tried to pull away but I didn't let up. I continued kissing him as he wrapped his arms around my waist.

This was the only way I could build myself up to tell him. I needed to know that he would still love me.

Moaning, I guided us back to the bed, falling onto my back as he stood up straight.

"I wan' fuck on you, T."

"I really do." He stressed bluntly and I nodded, hoping that he would so that I could buy myself some more time.

"But I'm not gon' to until you tell me what's up with you."

"I ain't crazy and you know that shit." He spoke sternly, looking down at me.

"You tryn' make me fuck you so you ain't gotta talk but you gon' talk tonight." He scoffed, stepping away from me and removing the gun from the bed.

I watched as he took it into his closet and stashed it away somewhere. And I sat there realizing that this was it. He was on to me and he wasn't going to let it go. Plus I'm sure Dej wouldn't let this live passed tonight, it was over for me.

Biting my lip as he made his way back over to me, I looked up at him while he stood there.

"Talk to me before I get out of character with you, Tiana." He threatened, looking away from me.

"I'm really tryna keep my composure with you but you pullin' bullshit right na'. Especially with that dumb shit you just tried to do."

"Okay. Okay." I looked down, breathing heavily as he stood there waiting.

"Remember earlier when I told you my mom doesn't want us together?" I began to speak, building myself up.

"Yeah." He nodded, listening intently.

"Well she told me that I needed to break up with you and that if I didn't she wasn't going to pay my tuition for this last semester. Meaning, I wouldn't be able to graduate."

"What?" He spat, furrowing his eyebrows and I nodded slowly while I looked up at him.

"So she ain't tryna let you graduate because you with me?" He scoffed, shaking his head.

"Well-"

"Your moms petty as shit, T." He walked away from me, pacing the floor.

"But that's not it, ba-"
