"You pregnant?" Dominic asked as I slowly looked down at my shaky hands.

"Tiana." He spoke sternly as I stood there like an idiot, still not giving him any eye contact. I was so nervous and my anxiety was through the roof. I couldn't do this.

"Baby, answer me."

"Are you pregnant?" He asked again, using his index finger to lift my chin.

Our eyes met one another and I could see in his that he was scared and nervous just like I was, he just had a good poker face.

"No." I shook my head quickly.

"I don't know." I went on, looking down again.

"Yes."

"Baby, you just gave me three different answers." He couldn't help but to laugh, making me look up at him. His laughter weirdly calmed me. I figured since he was laughing, maybe he wasn't as afraid as I thought he was.

"Which is it, ma?"

"I don't know." I spoke softly.

"I took three test today and they all say positive but there's still a chance that I'm not. The test could be wrong, Dominic."

"Okay?" I tried to empathize, considering I knew he wasn't ready for this and here I was putting this on him.

"You took a test?" He furrowed his eyebrows.

"Yeah, Deja went to get them for me." I explained and he nodded slowly.

Taking a few steps away from me, he huffed, putting his hands on his head.

"Where the test at?" He asked, looking at me seriously.

"Upstairs in the bathroom." I spoke barely over a whisper, looking down again. It was something about his tone of voice and the way that he was looking at me right now that made me feel so nervous and guilty about all of this. I knew he wasn't happy.

I just mentally hoped that these test were inaccurate.

He said nothing else as he made his way up the staircase, leaving me standing there. I waited nervously for him to come back down and he finally did after about five minutes.

"So you really pregnant, T?" He asked again as he towered over me, looking down into my eyes.

"Well like I said before the test could be-"

"All three of them pregnancy test are positive, Tiana." He spoke sternly over me, basically wanting me to stop bullshitting him.

"Well yes, it's a strong possibility. But I promise I won't force you or pin a baby on you. I will get an abortion or adoption, what ever you want. I don't want to hurt you or make you do anything your not ready for."

He furrowed his eyebrows, looking down at me with a mug on his face as I stood there with glossy eyes. I just wanted him to comfortable with all of this.

"Sit the fuck down yo." He spoke sternly and I quickly did as told, sitting down onto the couch.

I sat there nervously as my hands shook, I was completely on edge. I didn't know what he was about to say to me but what I did know is what ever it was he wanted me to do, I would do.

I watched as he walked back outside and said something to Deja and the guys. I couldn't hear exactly what he said but I'm pretty sure he was either asking them to leave or telling them not to come inside because him and I were about to have an important conversation.

When he finally came back into the house, he closed then locked the door before he walked over to me and slowly sat down onto the couch beside me. I timidly sat there and watched as he slouched into the couch, removed an already rolled blunt from behind his ear and slowly lit it while holding it to his lips.

"Come here, ma." He patted his lap then held his hand out for me to grab. I abided, grabbing his hand and allowing him to pull me into him so that I could straddle him.
