Silas: Seriously?

Jace: Yes! We have to celebrate this! Ethan, get organizing.

Ethan: Me? I’m not a wedding planner for fuck’s sake.

Finn: He said party, not wedding.

Ethan: You want me to invite Banning to my frat house??

Axel: God, no. Silas and Damien need something way classier than beer kegs and couches that smell like cum.

Ethan: Hello, you’re responsible for those couches. You and Honey.

Axel: Damn right and proud of it.

Finn: Back to the party…

Ethan: I’ll get it going, but I need help.

Dane: I know someone. We’ll get it done.

Silas: Any other questions? And yes, before you ask, I’m going to change the name on my jersey.

Jace: That’s so freaking hot.

Finn: So, the party is a yes? Silas?

There was a knock at the door and Damien appeared, two beers in hand.

“Am I interrupting?” he asked.

“Nope. Come see this.”

He sat down beside me, and I showed him the group text. Damien chuckled and rolled his eyes.

“The team organizing a party for us is scarier than facing any reporter,” he admitted as he passed me a bottle.

We raised our beers and clinked them together.

“No shit. God knows what they’re going to come up with.”

“I think you better add your input before it turns into something from a reality TV show.”

I set my beer down and began typing again.

Silas: The party’s a go, but like Axel said, let’s keep it classy. Only the best for my husband. And now, it’s time for me to say goodnight.

Jace: Wait, you didn’t get to experience a bachelor night either. We can combine the two events? We start off the party with a stripper (or two) and then end with champagne and cake?

“Now they’re talking about strippers,” I added.

Damien’s bottle almost slipped from his grip. “Oh my God. No. Unless… unless that’s what you want?”

“Are you kidding?” I shook my head, then leaned over to take his lips. “The only stripping I want to see is you, now.”

Damien chuckled and deepened the kiss, his tongue teasing mine.

“Hold that thought,” I whispered.
