No. Who would I be jealous of? This is too much. Too fucking complicated.

She swallows the food and clears her throat. “We fucked and Fintan opened up about the scars you share,” she says withoutmaking eye contact with either of us, but I don’t miss the slight hitch in her voice as she sniffles.

Fintan stares at her with wide eyes before looking at me. “Are you fucking kidding me?” I growl.

“Kai…” he starts, but I cut him off before he has a chance to explain himself. “You fucked her? What did you tell her?”

“Nothing! I didn’t tell her anything, Kieran,” he says. “Sure,” I rush out, sarcasm dripping from the word as I grab a few sandwiches and head over to what I’ve come to know as“my spot.”

“Don’t fight, pets. I’ll leave you two to make up, but remember the rules,” Alex announces as she moves her chair back, letting it scrape against the concrete floor before straightening and heading upstairs without another word.

Iwatch Kieran cautiously as he sits across from me on the floor while I stay in my seat at the table. He looks tense as he leans his back against the wall, his jaw clenched as his eyes meet mine and waits for an explanation.

“Look, Kai,” I start, my voice low as I try to find the right words to convey what happened in the shower without making things worse. “Alex…She got undressed and decided to take a shower with me. She noticed our scars and wanted to talk about them.”

Kieran’s gaze sharpens, his eyes narrowing as he leans away from the wall and turns to face me, cross-legged. “Go on.”

“She wanted to know where we got them,” I continue, my voice hoarse as I try to keep it low; I know she’s listening. “I didn’t tell her anything. I think she’s trying to stir up shit.”

Kieran’s expression softens, a flicker of understanding passing between us. “What did you tell her?”

I let out a heavy sigh, my shoulders sagging with the weight of the situation. “Nothing, I swear,” I admit, my voice thick with emotion. “She kept prodding and called me her pet. I said no one owns me and she stopped asking. I don’t know why, but I didn’t say anything.”

Kieran gets up and walks to the table and rests his hand on mine in a gesture of silent support. “I don’t know why it bothers me so much, but that’s on me, let’s just drop it.”

I nod, eying him curiously for a moment. “Are you jealous?” I murmur, my voice barely more than a whisper. Kieran’s gaze flashes with fury as he recoils and takes a step back. “Excuse me?” he grumbles, his voice filled with tension. “What the fuck makes you think that?”

I meet his gaze, my heart pounding in my chest as I stand from my seat and face him fully. “I know you like her too, Kieran, perhaps that’s why neither of us have posted anything new on Hush since we took her,” I whisper, my voice choked with emotion. “I’ll ask again, are you fucking jealous that I fucked her without you?”

His breaths falter as he contemplates my sudden confession. Fuck it. Just do it. You’ve wanted this for years and thanks to that maniacal little puppet master upstairs, the doors have been ripped from their hinges. There are no more places to hide.

I grip the back of his neck, pulling him down as I lean closer and press my lips against his in a heated kiss. The world falls away around us as we lose ourselves in the moment, the taste of his tongue driving me wild.

Ceasing the opportunity, I whisper against his lips, “we need to get out of here. We should look around and find a way to escape without her knowing what we’re up to.” Kieran nods as he moves away, his breaths heavy as he looks into my eyes for a moment.

Our stolen moment is short-lived as Alex’s voice crackles through the intercom, her scolding tone cutting through the air like a knife. “I warned you, pets,” she says, her disembodied voice laced with disappointment. “You broke a rule. So, it seems you need a reminder of what happens when you disobey me.”

The room starts filling with gas, the noxious fumes enveloping us in a thick haze. We take advantage of the fact that the cameras would be cloudy while the vents are pumping clouds into the basement.

We look around for an exit other than the door. I rush up the stairs when we fail to find another way out. Trying the door, I am not surprised that it is locked. Of course it is.

She has to let her guard down eventually. We’ll need to make a run for it while she is down here. There are no locks on the inside so the door will be unlocked while she checks on us.

Darkness closes in around us, swallowing us whole as we slip into unconsciousness once again.

Fintan and Kieran decided to break a rule, and I think it’s time I give them another taste of their own medicine. With my own personal touch to it, of course It would seem I only have one reliable weapon in my arsenal.

I guess I have to kiss more of my morals goodbye.

Heading over to the trunk in my bedroom, I grab the black latex dress, a harness that hugs my thighs and waist, thigh-high stockings and my favorite pair of combat boots.

I don’t bother with underwear; I don’t think I’ll need it for what I’m planning. I want to manipulate them. Scare them. I amtaking a huge risk tonight, but I have faith that my pets won’t disappoint me. This will be huge, for all of us.

I slide into the sleek dress, the material clinging to every curve of my body as if it was made for me. The harness adds a touch of edge, accentuating my waist and thighs in all the right places. The stockings complete the ensemble, their texture complementary with the shiny latex.

Stepping back, I slide my phone into the elastic of the stocking on my left leg and take in my reflection in the floor-length mirror. My hair falls in loose, soft waves as it brushes my shoulders, a stark contrast to the harsh lines of the gas mask I hold in my hand.

The mask is a prop I will use to ensure they follow my plan but the small syringe on the dresser is the star of the show. It contains ten milligrams ofEtorphine hydrochloride, which according to my contact on the dark web, is also calledM99.
