“We’d like to entertain you,” Arvus chimed in.
They both nodded at him, looking very earnest. He was so glad to have friends like this. And speaking of theseparticularfriends… He eyed them speculatively.
“Ooh,” Molun said excitedly. “What’s that gleam in the eye for? I like this already.”
Perian laughed. “I haven’t even said anything.”
“You don’t have to. Just the look on your face tells me enough. I’m in.”
Chapter Eight
Perian laughed harder, so,soglad he’d met these people. He eyed Arvus, who shrugged and nodded.
“All right, you two are ridiculous and the best,” Perian told them. “But this idea actually requires your informed consent.”
“Still sounding good so far,” Molun assured him.
Perian couldn’t stop smiling. “Seriously, though.”
Arvus leaned closer. “He doesn’t do serious.”
“I noticed,” Perian said, playing along. “You remember the dinner where Brannal and I gave you a show for dessert?”
Molun’s lip curled up. “I most certainly do.”
“Well, here’s the thing. I still feel a little weird about doing anything without Brannal being here. I really… That was my favorite part, no offense.”
Molun laughed. “That’s not offensive. You know Arvus and I have a third with us sometimes, but it’s always withus. We don’t do separate partners.”
Perian nodded. He couldn’t imagine the two of them doing that, although it clearly worked for some people.
“Pretty sure Brannal isn’t here,” Molun pointed out.
Perian laughed. “Unfortunately, no. Although, thank the elements, we’re getting there. But what I was wondering was if we could try the reverse.”
Molun looked puzzled, but Arvus’s lips curved into a grin.
“You want us to put on a show for you.”
Perian bit his lip, eying them carefully. “Only if you want to, of course.”
“Oh, we want to,” Molun said, eyes getting that hungry look Perian liked so much. It wasn’t quite so nice when it wasn’t Brannal, but this was a close second, both warm and hot, because it was someone who actually knew him, not just a random stranger who thought he was pretty.
“You’re sureyou’re all right with it?” Arvus asked.
“I mean, I think so? You’re very pretty, and I think if I’m just watching and not participating, I’ll feel all right about it. And if I’m not all right with it, I trust you won’t take it personally if I leave.”
Molun and Arvus exchanged a quick glance, and then they both looked back at him and nodded. Perian was glad they’d confirmed with one another.
“You can ask us to stop, or you can leave at any time,” Arvus confirmed. “And we’ll keep our touching and all contact between just the two of us while you watch. Anything you don’t want us to do?”
“What do you mean?” Perian asked. “You just said you won’t touch me.”
“But is there anything you don’t want to see us do to one another?”
“Oh.” This hadn’t occurred to him, as it had not come up with him and Brannal. “I kind of thought it was the choice of the people giving the show what they wanted to put on display. I, uh, don’t like pain with my sex, and apart from that, I haven’t experienced anything I don’t like so far. As long as the two of you are enjoying it, I’m pretty sure I’ll enjoy it too.”
“Fair enough,” Arvus said, a small smile on his lips. “How about you get comfortable in the chair by the fire. We’ll give you a show in front of it. How does that sound?”
