“Come to bed Delilah. You haven’t been sleeping,” I ordered her.

She narrowed her eyes to me. “Just exactly how did you find me, Hawke?”

“Oh shit,”my wolf snorted.

I tried to change the subject. “Delilah, you’re exhausted. Get to bed. I’ll watch over you so you can sleep. We can talk in the morning.”

“No.” She crossed her arms.

No one tells me no. Well, except for her.

“I want to know how you got here. How do you know I haven’t been sleeping? I went to great lengths to get here without being discovered!”

I sighed, sitting on the bed. Delilah could be as stubborn as me sometimes, and it was irritating. She was also smart as a bullwhip. The club kept a lot of its unlawful hunting of traffickers and enemies silent from the humans, but Delilah was always watching, noticing things.

I opened my mouth, but she gasped. “You put a GPS tracker somewhere in my stuff!” Delilah ran around the room, pulling out her clothes, making a mess in the process. She ran to the bathroom, throwing her toiletry bag on the floor, emptying its contents.

I pinched the bridge of my nose and went to find her. She was pulling clothes out of the hamper, checking each tag for a little device.

It wasn’t unheard of for the Iron Fang to use trackers. Switch was skilled, and we had put trackers on our own people to make sure we always knew where everyone was. We were a broken pack, but we protected each other. Delilah knew that and knew about Switch pulling up members on the computer when we couldn’t find someone.

“Is that why you didn’t take your bear?” I put my hand on her shoulder. She sniffed, turning around.

“Yeah, thought you would stuff one in there.” She rubbed her eyes with the back of her hand. “It hurt to leave him, but I couldn’t have you follow me. Not after what you said.”

My wolf howled.

Yeah, I was a dick.

I pulled Delilah to my body, hugging her. “I was an ass,” I mumbled in her hair. “I said it to hurt you, to keep you away, and look what it did.”

She sniffed again, and she let me pick her up. Delilah wrapped her legs around me. Her pussy was bare, and it was taking every ounce of me not to wiggle her up and down on my growing cock.

“Where did you put the tracker?” she mumbled in my chest.

I chuckled, petting her head, then kissing it. “Your shoes.”

“Which ones?” she asked, defeated.

“All of them?” I winced.

Delilah groaned, tilting her head back to look at me. “You are impossible, you know that? If it was any other person doing that, I’d be throwing you out.”

“But it’s me.” I smiled. The only smile I would give was to her because she made me happy more than anyone. “And you knew I would do such a thing.”

Delilah shook her head, then tapped her chin on my shoulder.

“I’m still mad at you, Hawke. I’m not giving you my heart.” Wetness covered my shoulder, and I wanted to cry myself.

I had royally messed up, and I hated myself. “I know Sunshine.” I continued to run my hand over her head, stroking the softness of her hair. “I’m going to prove to you I won’t run anymore. I’m not breaking us apart. I want you; I want you more than anything.”

“I hope you mean that,” she said. “Because let me tell you, the last relationship I had, well, it was a lesbian relationship.”

I pulled her back, raising a brow. “What?”

“Yeah, it was with a man, but he was a complete bitch.”

“Oh, she burned you good,”my wolf snorted.
