“Me too. You and I, I think we just might work. But we should probably go on a real date first, don’t you think?”
I laughed. “Yeah, the sexual compatibility test was passed with flying colors. Now it’s on to the human interaction phase. We haven’t even exchanged phone numbers yet.”
We both burst into laughter. “What time is it?” I asked her.
“Believe it or not, it’s already ten a.m.”
“Wow, I can’t remember the last time I slept this late. Did you have plans today? Do you need me to clear out?” I looked around for my clothes.
“Here,” she said, tossing me a pair of jeans and t-shirt. “Are you free today?”
“I am. I was just going to head home and do some laundry. Why, what did you have in mind?” I asked, slipping into the clothes she’d loaned me.
“I was thinking of taking my girl on a date. A day date. Something along the lines of lunch and a movie?”
“Hmm, I think I could swing that. Does that mean I have to put out afterward?” I teased.
“Hell yeah, it does.”
I slid my hand behind her neck, pulling her against me and laying a kiss on her that conveyed what my words could not. She had no idea what she’d done for me, awakening a hunger long since repressed inside. No longer was I made to feel like a freak for having needs another couldn’t sate, but these needs were encouraged in a unique setting. Some may disagree with our relationship, but what matters most is that it works for us.
