Forgive me not
You caused so much pain
You’ll never do it again
I’d rather die down on my knees
Than give you another chance with me
Your heartless soul led me to see
Something that wasn’t there for you or me
Blinded by what I thought was love
Only to find it was a bluff
You say I need to earn your forgiveness?
Forgive me? Ha,ha,ha.
Forgive me not
“Boo!” Benny yelled, launching himself at me in his usual way. Only this time, I was ready and caught him mid-air. “I’m so proud of you. You’re all growed up,” he teased.
“Boo?” My brother cocked an inquisitive brow, reminding me much of myself.
“Yes,” Benny’s cocky side replied, hand on his hip and attitude ready for battle. “He’s my Boo, you got a problem with that?”
River shook his head, and Easton laughed. “Okay little man,” I said, mussing his hair, “settle down; he was just curious. No need to get your panties in a bunch.” I carried him back to River and set him on his lap. “Jay, I have no idea why I’m Boo or what it means, but that’s what the little man calls me.”
“Um, okay. Can we get back to the movie now, Boo?” Jay teased, so I tossed a pillow at him. Just like that the whole thing was over, the levity in the room remained, and I’d finally contributed my first song to the band. Guess I’m not such a big, dumb goofball after all. A wave of pride surged through me as I finished that thought. Well, I do enjoy holding that title, but I guess in some settings it might not be such a bad thing to show a little maturity. Especially now that I had Jay’s needs to consider.
After Joey and Stoli left, I went into my room and found Easton waiting for me in the shower. “Hey Boo,” he called out, seemed this name was gonna carry across the channels, “come wash my back.” I launched my board shorts across the room and had the bath sponge in my hand in a matter of seconds.
“Wow,” Easton said as I filled the sponge with body wash. “I’d have to say that was record-breaking time getting in here.”
“My man naked in the shower, calling out for me to wash his back? That’s a no brainer in my book,” I answered, pressing my lips to his neck.
“Hey, what do you think about us moving in together?”
“I think it’s a great idea. Totally makes sense, and besides it’s getting a little crowded at Mickey’s home for wayward souls,” I told him.
“Exactly. We’ve been dating for a year now. I’m ready to get out of my parents’ place and into my own, our own. I’m with you every night as it is. Seems the natural path of progression for us,” he further explained.
“Agreed, what did you have in mind?”
“I’d like to buy a house together. Jay can have his own space, and we can both have all our things under one roof. No more running back and forth for me. What do you say?”
The fact that he included Jay in this sealed the deal for me. “I say…place your palms against the tile wall and spread your legs,” he shivered as the deep command in my voice resonated within him and he assumed the desired position.
“Good boy,” I commended him, flicking open the lid to the lube we kept in the shower. The sound echoed around us as I watched the clear gel coat my fingers before sliding them down his crack and circling his hole. “Tell me what else you want,” I asked, applying pressure to his entrance, but not penetrating.
“I want...” he trailed off.
“What do you want, East? Tell me, and it’s yours.”
“I want you,” he turned his head to the side, capturing my mouth with his. “Inside me. Now. Please?” he ended with a plea as his lips parted, forming the shape of an O.
