“Heading out,” Vlad calls. Each brother left in the apartment slaps my arm as they leave.

“Catch you back at home, Danni,” Reaper says as he pulls my woman in for a quick hug. “Dus is ecstatic you’re moving to Bentley. She loves adding to her girl crew.”

“Please tell her I’m looking forward to finding trouble with her.”

Reaper cocks his head, pinning her with the most ‘are you fucking kidding me?’ stare I’ve ever seen come from the man and heismarried to Dusty—which means I’ve seen those stares a lot. “Fuck,” he says. “I’m not telling her that. She’ll take you up on it.”

“You sure are uptight for a biker,” Danni replies, laughing and patting his chest like she’s patting a little kid. Reap grabs her into a hug, playfully noogying the top of her head with a fist and they’re both laughing like fools until I extract her safely back into my arms. Her eyes heat the moment they reach mine, saying ‘thank you’ in a way that I can’t give her the ‘you’re welcome’ because her little sister is still in the apartment with us.

Holding Danni in my arms, the pull is too strong to not kiss her though, and so I take her mouth in a punishing kiss. She returns it, feelings and all flowing freely enough for me to drink them down. That is until I hear someone mumble, “screwed,” under his breath as a body passes us and I remember we’re not alone.

It takes everything I have to tear my lips away and call out, “Thanks again,” as the last of the brothers leaves and it’s just me, Danni, and Misty again. “We should probably find a hotel for the night.” Seeing as there aren’t even any pillows or blankets left in this place, there’s noprobablyabout it.

The three of us check to make sure we’re not leaving anything behind and walk out the door for the last time. Danni drives to the office to turn in her key and we find a hotel. Since we had pizza for lunch, Danni and Misty want to have dinner at their favorite Mexican place. It has an outdoor eating area. The strip is lit up like Christmas. Lots of tourists. But the sisters are having a great time and that’s what matters the most.

After dinner, they give me the walking tour. We take in a movie and then it’s time to head back to the hotel. Danni notices the looks I get walking around wearing my cut—I know she does because every time some judgmental asshole sneers, she squeezes her arm around me tighter. Their looks don’t bother me, but it doesn’t suck to see Danni coming into her own as a biker’s old lady. Not shying away, but pulling me in close. It’s hot.

Once we get home, I’m fucking her so hard, she’ll feel the shadow of me between her legs for weeks.

We’re lounging in bed, Danni with me, Misty in her own, when Misty rolls over to face us. “You better get some new prospects. I liked Horace, but he’s a little old for me. I want a man a little closer to my age.”

“Already planning on being an old lady?” Danni asks.

“Yes.” Misty sits up. “Did you see them? It’s like they only accepted men who checked ‘yes’ to the question:Are you hot?on the club entrance exam.”

“Convent,” I mutter. “Talking to your dad.”

“Really? If you love my sister, wouldn’t you want me to end up with someone you trust?”

“Misty.” Danni admonishes.

“What? He doesn’t trust his own brothers?”

That’s not what Danni got bent about. I need to tell her.

But it’s too raw, too personal to say with a witness in the room. When I tell her for the first time, it has to be just her and me. I pull her in tight against my body, hoping that she understands what I feel for her, even if I can’t say it yet.

The next morning, the air in the room turns a little sad. I know she’s going to miss her sister. We check out and I take them out for breakfast once more before we hit the road again.

A three-hour drive later and we’re rolling to a stop outside Misty’s house. I remove my cut again before Danni and I walk her up to the door. No one is home. Her brothers are at school and her dad and stepmom are most likely working.

Misty’s eyes tear up. “Gonna miss you so bad,” she says, leaning in to hug her sister.

“We never got to see each other before,” Danni replies, her voice thick with tears.

“I missed you then, too.”

“Sweetheart, our house is your house. Know you’re welcome whenever,” I say.

She lets go of her sister to allow me to draw her into a hug. “I’ve got little brothers. I’ve never had an older one.”

“Got one now. You’ll probably wish you didn’t, but there’s no getting rid of me now. Danni’s in my life, which means you’re in my life.” I press a kiss to the top of her head and let her go so Danni can get one more hug in before we have to leave.

As they’re saying their goodbyes, my phone rings. It’s Jack Dunham. I step away from the sisters to answer.

“Yeah?” I ask.

“He’s struck again.”
