I nodded again, and he snuggled closer to me, kissing my neck softly. With his movement, he pushed inside me again, making me moan in response.

“Oh, Bella, there’s your pretty voice.”

I slapped his shoulder, and he laughed wholeheartedly, capturing my lips in a sweet kiss, and running his hand over my hair.

Then he slid his body to the side and reached down to grab something on the floor. He touched his trousers and dug something out of his pocket.

I hissed and held onto his neck, guiding him back to my body, and I started grinding on his hard dick, making him groan in pleasure, but he stopped me by holding my hips firm with his hands.

“Wait a second, I’ve been holding back the whole time. We’ll continue in a minute, I swear,” he promised and kissed me again.

Then he flipped us so that he was lying on the bed, and I was on top of him.

I sat up, and Nathan stared at me with a seductive hunger. I felt him getting harder, and I tried not to move too much.

“Bella, will you walk beside me through life’s highs and lows and be my partner in every joy and woe? Will you marry me, my love?”

He reached next to a small box he had pulled out of his pocket and sat up.

“Actually, I would like to kneel before you now…” I shook my head and grabbed the box. When I opened it, I saw a beautifulring with my favorite pastel colors mixed in with a diamond. My heart quivered, and Nathan grabbed the box again.

“Forget it! I’m not going to let you put the ring on yourself.”

Then he pulled out the box and grabbed my hand, where he slipped the ring on with slightly trembling hands and kissed the spot. He intertwined our hands, pulled me down, and kissed me passionately, sweetly, and with so much love. Tears of joy rolled down my face, and I felt like I was finally regaining my voice.

I parted and whispered, “I love you, Nathan, I love you so much.”

His grip got so strong, and I started moving and torturing him into bliss.

“Bella, let’s go to Vegas,” Nathan whispered as he held me in his arms. The bright sun had already changed to the moonlight, and the silhouette enchanted the scenery, giving it a magical touch.

“We don’t have a deadline to rush into this.”

“I do; I want to make sure that every person in this world knows you’re my wife.”

I rolled my eyes and then laughed at his serious look. I planted a soft kiss on his lips in return.

“I want to celebrate with all of our friends and family.”

He stared into my eyes and gently smiled. “Okay, then we’ll make a plan, but I still want us to spend every moment together. Come move in with me, my love.”

“Why is my apartment too small for you?” I teased.

“No, It’s cute... But the options aren’t that variable... It’s getting cramped when I think about how I can have sex with you in the kitchen, in the bathroom, in the living room—”

My eyes fluttered, I raised my hands and covered his mouth. “How—Nathan! Oh my God, fine! I’ll move in.”

He licked the palm of my hand and smirked. “Then this is settled, my love.”

His arms around me pushed me tighter into his embrace. “You’re not just the highlight of my life. You are the color to my gray, the warmth on my coldest days, and the melody to my silence. Thank you for making me the happiest I’ve ever been.”

TheEnd

Epilogue

The shrill, joyful cry of the sweetest child in the world was heard. “Bella!” She ran up to me and jumped right into my arms as I stepped into the garden.

“Aaliyah, my pretty darling, how are you? You’ve grown so tall!” Amara’s daughter was now four years old and was already so tall she reached my waist. She wore a beautiful summer dress, and her black hair was styled into two little afro puffs, with cute barrettes holding some strands in place.
