“Jazz is at another party. I’ll be meeting her there soon,” Dame answers.

“My other half is in the bathroom,” Mason says.

Vic looks at me and raises her brows. I furrow mine, confused by whatever message she’s trying to relay. She sighs and comes over to me, tugging me away from the table.

“Your house is free. Maybe it would be a good time to go have some fun.”

“Me and you?”

“And Oliver,” she says.

I look behind her and find him talking to Dame.

“I don’t know.”

“Come on. One more time and then we’ll move on from him.”

“Or we could find someone else.”

“He’s cute though. And nice. After this, I promise our next threesome will be with a girl.”

I sigh and she pouts.

“You’re really annoying.”

“Yo, Aiden,” Dameion says, his arm in the air.

“What’s up?” I ask, walking over, grateful for the save.

“This guy says he’s looking for a new place to live.”

I look at Oliver and then at another guy standing nearby. “Who?”

Dameion points at Oliver.

Oh no.

“Really?” Vic questions. “Where do you live now?”

“With my friend, Charlie, but he’s engaged now and they wanna move in together.”

“He’s kicking you out?” I ask.

“Not really, but it’s pretty obvious they want the place to themselves.”

“He said he kinda knows you?” Dame questions with an arched brow. “You can vouch?”

“I’d hardly say I know him.” Vic elbows me and Oliver’s dark eyes trace my face. “But I don’t think he’s a killer or anything.”

Oliver snorts.

“Come over tomorrow, man,” Dame tells him. “We can all talk.”

“Cool,” he replies with a nod. He looks at me. “Guess I’ll get the address from you.”

The guys go about their game and start ignoring us. The music gets turned up, and Vic gathers the three of us together near the fridge.

“We can go show him where the place is now.”
