“No hard feelings. I call your brother and let him know about the fifty women you had brought into the city so they could be hunted and murdered,” I replied coolie.
A few of his guys’ eyes widened and they stared at Tino in disgust and horror. They clearly didn’t realize what a sick fuck they worked for. Tino’s eyes remained on me, unmoved by his men.
“I can’t give you all the casinos. Only half,” he informed me.
“Fine.” I shrugged. He seemed relaxed by my words. “Then I’ll only tell him about half the women.”
“Come the fuck on!” He growled, slamming his fists on the table. My guys started to stand up, a few of them with their hands in their coat pockets no doubt gripping the handle of their guns. I signaled for them to stay in place, which they did obediently.
“As I said, this isn’t much of a negotiation. You know the rules of the De Santis. You took the oath. No one to fucking blame but yourself.” My finger pointed in his direction. “So either sign over the casinos or call your brother and De Santis and tell them what the fuck you did.”
“You greedy son of a bitch!”
Before my guys could respond, I held up my hand and shook my head. A soft chuckle escaped me as I looked at the rage in Tino’s eyes. A vein pulsated across his forehead. The fat fuck was ready to blow a gasket.
I had every intention of leaking the information to Tino’s brother and De Santis once I got Tino to sign over the casinoslegally. For now, I had to play the game of businessman. However, once the sick fuck was off my property, I’d be making a phone call or two.
“If that isn’t calling the pot calling the kettle black, I don’t know what it is,” I sneered. “Tino, it’s fucking simple. You sign over the casinos and that’s that. Or you don’t and you deal with your brother and De Santis. I’m sure they’ll forgive you for sex trafficking and the murder and mutilation of fifty women. Right?”
The door to my office flew open, causing us all to startle.
“Fifty fucking women!” Sofia screamed as she stormed into the room.
“Sofia!” Tino gushed, standing up. He opened his arms to her but quickly raised his hands in a surrendering manner when he saw the gun pointed at him. “Sofia. Eh. Take it easy.”
“Take it easy? Take it fucking easy?” she growled, continuing to aim the gun at him. “Fifty fucking women are dead because of you!”
“It– It– It isn’t like that,” he stammered. He looked at his guys and gestured with his eyes for one of them to do something to her.
“They’re on my father’s fucking payroll, mother fucker! If I want to blow your fucking head off, they’ll help me dispose of your fucking body!” she shouted. “So don’t fucking look at them for guidance. Capiche?”
Damn, she’s fucking sexy,I thought looking her over.
“Sofia, you’re blowing this way out of proportion.”
“Sit. The. Fuck. Down,” she growled, pointing at the seat with the gun. Tino staggered backward until his knees touched the seat.
“Sofia, let’s just talk about this rationally,” Tino said, sitting down with his eyes on her.
“Fucking explain. Now.” Sofia paced a few feet from him but her eyes never left him. They were like lasers locked on their target. There was so much intensity coming from her.
The average person– man or woman– would be shaking as they held a gun to someone; not Sofia. She held it flawlessly as though it was another part of her body. Not a single shake, tremble, or hesitation as she aimed the gun at her uncle’s head.
“I said explain,” she gritted through clenched teeth.
“It was just business, Sofia,” Tino replied. “I didn’t hurt the women. I just supplied them.”
“You piece of shit!” She charged over to him and without warning struck him in the head with the grip of the gun. Tino cried out in pain as he held his forehead where it was now split open. Bright red blood seeped from beneath his hands.
“You, bitch!” Tino shouted at her.
“Mind your fucking tone!” I growled, standing up and slamming my fists against the table. All eyes were on me. “Watch how you speak to her.”
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Sofia smirk.
Naughty little vixen,I chuckled to myself but kept myself calm on the outside.
“Wait outside,” Sofia ordered with her eyes locked on Tino; however, her words weren’t meant for him.
