“We got the frames for your drawings,” Monty says.
“My drawings? The stuff I colored?”
I nod. “Correct, Princess. We want to show off the beautiful artwork you’ve made for us.”
“Daddy suggested we hang a couple up around the house. But I know better. He really wants to hang them all. How can we possibly pick which ones to use?!”
Monty throws his hands up like it’s the most difficult decision in the world. I chuckle and ease the frame back into the box. Danny’s bottom lip quivers as his gaze bounces between me and Monty.
Our princess is overwhelmed by the gift He doesn’t know what to make of us putting him front and center. Even though we’ve told him time and time again how important and valuable he is to this relationship, I have a feeling it hasn’t truly sunk in until now.
Wrapping him in my arms, I shift us until we’re all piled on the bed. I’m careful not to hurt Monty as I do. My boys snuggle close, each of them clutching me to make sure I don’t leave them.
“You’re important to us, Princess. We want to celebrate you as much as we do ourselves. I’m excited to pick all the places to hang everything. I almost wish we had a room dedicated to it like how the library is.”
The idea had come to me after Monty ordered in bulk. Forty frames is a lot to position around a home. Placement would be hard to navigate.
But an entire room dedicated to such is easier.
Monty gasps and squeezes the hold he has on my forearm. “Daddy! You’re brilliant. We’ll make the game room his artwork room. It’s perfect.”
Danny shakes his head. “No, we can’t. It’s where the team and everyone goes when you throw parties. They’ll see them all and know about…”
“No they won’t,” Monty replies. “Because I’m not having any more parties like I used to. If they’re not cool with having a chill night, then they’ll have to go somewhere else.”
I’m lost for words at his announcement. Danny doesn’t have the same problem. He turns in Monty’s arms and plants a hard kiss against his lips.
“Thank you, Monty. This was very un-brat like of you.”
“Be sure to thank Daddy too,” Monty rumbles.
I have about two seconds to brace myself before my princess launches himself at me. Kisses are pressed all over my face to the point my glasses become askew. Monty claps and laughs, encouraging the onslaught to continue. I allow it a bit longer, then I take control of things.
The minute I halt my boy’s movements, he relaxes in my hold. I devour his mouth, leaving him trembling in my arms.
When I pull back, his eyes are hooded. “Daddy,” he whimpers.
“We’ll take care of you soon, Princess. First, we need Monty to tell us what he means about stopping his parties.” I turn us both to face the man in question.
“It’s not a short story.”
Danny wiggles in my grip. “We’ve got nothing but time. Tell us, Brat. Daddy won’t fuck us until you do. Don’t you want his cock?”
“Always.” Monty’s reply is quick, letting me know it’s the honest truth.
Grinning, I tip my head toward him. “Then I suggest you get to the point, so I can get to mine.”
CHAPTER 26
Roommates or More Than Friends??
By Sally Firins
Monty Tempest.A name you all know and love.
Our beloved Bellport Bulldog was injured at the start of the year after taking a terrible hit during a playoff game. The injury pulled him out right as the team would head to the Super Bowl.
In the weeks after his injury, Tempest declined all interviews and comments about his recovery. For all we knew, he’d dropped off the face of the planet. It was odd given how often he used to be spotted out and about the city.
