“I missed you, too. Thank you for last night. You didn’t have to sit there with me.” He explained. I huffed at his words.

“Nonsense, you were there when I nearly had a meltdown at Sorren’s award ceremony. We’re mates now. I want to be there in your darkest and happiest times. We can’t have one without the other. Life is about being there for one another during those moments in life.” I explained to him. My hands tightened around his face, so he couldn’t look away from me or avoid the words I was saying. Finn didn’t say anything, but nodded slightly. Taking that as a win, I released the man and returned to eat my prizes.

Once we had both eaten and finished our coffee, we got back on the road and completed the journey home. When we arrived, all three of our pack members stood outside waiting for us. I hopped off the bike when it was safe and was immediately pulled into a hug by Gabriel. I wrapped my arms around, taking a deep breath of his intoxicating scent. I had missed being able to smell the rest of my pack. I felt like an addict needing a hit from each of them. When Gabriel was satisfied with hugging me, he let me go and almost tackled Finn into a hug. A hand clasped my neck, making me turn around.

Graham was in front of me, staring me down with a warm expression. “Did you have fun?” He asked.

“Lots. The view from the mountain was incredible. We should all go sometime.” I replied. His smile widened.

“Your wish is my command.” He declared before leaning down and kissing me on the cheek. “I missed you.” He whispered in my ear. I was still reeling from how close he was when I was pulled away into a different broad chest.

“Quit hogging her, Graham! You're not the only one who missed her.” Sorren complained as he nuzzled his head against mine, scent marking me. I giggled and turned around in his arms to be face to face with him.

“I missed you, too,” I admitted before kissing him lightly on his lips. Sorren’s smile grew huge as he tightened his hold on me.

“Admit it. You missed me the most,” he said. I laughed at his words. From behind Sorren, I watched Gabriel hit Sorren on the head. “Ow! What was that for?” Sorren asked.

Gabriel scoffed and folded his hands around his chest.

“She obviously missed me the most. Right, Lydia?” He remarked.

“No way, she missed me the most. Come on, tell him, Lydia.” Sorren retorted. Both of them looked at me for confirmation. Glancing between them, I wasn’t sure how to respond to their questions.

“Calm down, she missed both of you. Sorren let her go. I’m sure she wants to shower and change into clean clothes.” Finn declared. Gabriel and Sorren both pouted, but Sorren reluctantly let me go nevertheless. I scurried away from both of them as fast as I could.

“We’ll continue this later!” Sorren called out to me as I entered the house. I closed the door behind me and nearly tumbled over laughing at Sorren and Gabriel’s antics. It was good to be home.

Chapter 23

Gabriel

Today was Sorren’s and my date night. I made Finn and Lydia go out to lunch with me so I could spend much-needed time with them while I waited for Sorren to get off work. When we got home, Lydia left Finn and me alone to work on updating her blog, which she’d been neglecting since moving in. I practically dragged Finn to his room to nap and watch movies together. I needed the time with them to calm the unnecessary anxieties in my head. After all the nonsense going on with Lydia's former pack, my omega has been too nervous to let any of our mates be far from us.

I was anxious when Finn and Lydia left for their date yesterday. I knew Lydia would be safe with Finn. He was one of the most intimidating alphas I’d ever met. I knew he would keep her safe if they got into trouble, but that didn’t stop the spiral of worry I had while they were gone. One of the reasons for this new anxiety is probably because this was the furthest two of my mates had gone without me. And then they got stuck overnight. It was strange to think that if something happened to either of them, I’d be too far away to get to them. That thought was scary. Sorren wanted to help me relax after all the anxious pacing and the rough night all three of us had in the nest, but that was for future Gabriel to worry about. The present Gabriel had plans.

It was last afternoon when I woke up from my nap with Finn. Pushing away the blanket, I was pleasantly surprised to find he had taken his shirt off at some point. His tattoos were on full display for me. My thighs caged in Finn’s while I sat on top of him. I was careful to not let my weight down on him in case he noticed and woke up. It was tough enough to get on top of him; the man was as thick as a tree trunk. I chuckled quietly as I watched him grumble slightly in his sleep. He had one arm tossed over his eyes and the other under his pillow.

I trailed my fingertips lightly against his chest while I watched his expression and breathing. Feeling braver, I drew my hands back up his chest, but this time with my entire palms. I savored the feeling of his skin along mine. I memorized every scar, freckle, wrinkle, and hair. People would probably think that was weird, but I wanted to know everything about my mates, even if that meant counting their freckles. I could feel him getting harder the longer Iwas touching him. I was doing another pass along his abs when his hands shot out to catch my wrists.

“What do you think you're doing?” Finn asked with a husky, rough voice from having just woken up. His eyes were still hooded from sleep, but I could see a small smile forming on his lips. His scent and mine flooded the room.

“Appreciating the merchandise, duh. Get with the program.” I teased, trying to get my wrists out of his grasp. When I realized he wouldn’t let go, I decided to grind against him as punishment. A feral grin appeared on my face when I watched him grunt in response.

“I’m merchandise, huh?” He groaned out as I ground against him again. This time, he let go of my wrist and moved his hands to my waist instead. I let out a devilish chuckle as I trailed my palms along his chest. “You're killing me.” He groaned out, letting his head fall back to his pillow.

“That’s the plan,” I replied with a playful tone. Wiggling a bit, I leaned down and kissed Finn. My body warmed as he groaned against my mouth. I licked along his lips, asking for permission and he opened for me. We made out like this for several minutes before Finn pulled me away.

“I won’t last long if you keep doing that.” Finn groaned out. I leaned forward, keeping my mouth a breath away.

“That’s the idea, Finn,” I said with a pop before devouring his lips again. He tried to push me away, but his weak attempts soon stopped. Instead, he gripped my hair to deepen the kiss. He moaned against my mouth right as a whistling voice filtered through the room.

“What a sight to see this late in the afternoon.” Sorren’s chuckle engulfed the room. I glanced back to find him leaning against the frame of the door. “I don’t mean to interrupt, but it’s almost time for our date, Gabriel.” Sorren reminded me, not at all bothered by the fact that I wasn’t ready to leave yet. I returned to Finn’s pants while I mused over a response.

“I’ll be ready to go in a second. I need to finish something real quick.” I said as I ran my hands over Finn’s underwear. I purred with delight when he groaned involuntarily.

“More like finishing someone,” Sorren muttered before speaking up again. “I’ll be waiting in the living room then. Don’t be too long or we will have to deal with traffic.”

“You could always watch,” I suggested as I released Finn’s length from his underwear.
