“Raheem is gonna drive it for me and Aiden will follow him in his car. We’ll unload it tomorrow sometime,” he replied.

“I get to drive my new car. Thank you, baby. I love it.” Faryn smiled.

“And I love you,” Landon replied.

“Aww, I love you too, boo. We’ll see you at home,” Faryn said as she kissed him.

“Can we go take a ride somewhere in your new car Faryn?” Lennox asked.

“I thought you were tired,” Landon said.

“I’m not tired no more,” he replied as he hopped in the back seat and closed the door. Lance got into the front and buckled his seat belt.

“Don’t worry. I’ll just ride them around for a minute and we’ll be home before you get there,” Faryn assured him.

Landon removed the huge bows from the top of the car and watched while they drove away. Faryn was too excited as she tried to learn some of the features in her new toy. The kids helped her figure some things out as they drove around and listened to music. They stopped for ice cream and the time was the furthest thing from their minds. When Landon called to see where they were, Faryn decided to head home. Landon laughed when they pulled up because he had beat them there. He was happy to see them smiling and that alone made him smile in return.
