“I’m right here boo. You can say what you have to say to my face,” Faryn said when she walked out of the stall and washed her hands.

Ava ended her call before turning around to address the woman who she now hated with a passion.

“Don’t flatter yourself boo. Calling you a hoe was me being nice.” Ava smirked.

“Bitches like you really kill me. You seem to have a problem with everybody else, but your husband. He’s the one who cheated on you boo, not me. And the shit wasn’t even all that good anyway,” Faryn replied, shocking Ava with her words.

Faryn seemed so laidback and calm and she never said much. Landon or Makena always came to her defense before she could say anything. The hood came out of her quick and her face owned no fear. Her voice was strong and confident, making Ava want to back down.

“It must have been if you went back for it for an entire year,” Ava countered.

Kane had confessed to everything after she threatened to leave him. He told her how he and Faryn had met and how long they had messed around. Ava cried for two days straight, but she would never leave her man. She had too much to lose if she did. Ava was a pampered housewife and she would never give up that lifestyle, no matter what he did. Kane had cheated on her several times before, but never for that long.

That’s what hurt her the most. His previous affairs never lasted longer than a month. To know that he had messed with Faryn for an entire year was like a knife being plunged into her heart. She could tell that feelings were involved, and he proved that the night of Faryn’s baby shower. When Landon proposed to Faryn, she could see the envy in her husband’s eyes. Kane got up and stormed out of the hall, and Ava followed him. He claimed that he went outside to smoke, but she knew that it was more than that. He couldn’t take seeing his ex-best friend with the woman who he had fallen so hard for. They argued for a while until everyone started coming outside to see the new car that Landon had purchased for Faryn. They ended their argument briefly, but it started back up as soon as they got home. They were barely speaking to each other after that and not much had changed since then.

“Trust me, that lil toddler dick wasn’t all that much to go back for. The head and the money was the best part of it all,” Faryn said, shaking Ava from her thoughts.

“Bitch, please. You wish my husband did eat that worn out pussy of yours,” Ava sneered.

“I didn’t have to wish boo. That nigga was begging for another taste, even after I stopped fucking with him. I had to change my number because he turned into a stalker. I would hurt your feelings and show you the text messages, but you already look like you’re ready to cry. I’m a happily married woman now, so your husband and his pinky-sized dick are a thing of the past. The bitches at JB’s are who you should be worried about. He’s paying for pussy left and right over there and they don’t give a fuck about him having a wife at home. Keep some bail money handy. It’s only a matter of time before that whorehouse gets raided with him inside. And a word of advice from me to you. Don’t throw lemons at a bitch who knows how to make lemonade,” Faryn said as she turned to walk away.

Ava was fuming at being dismissed by the other woman. Faryn was beneath her, in her opinion. Landon upgraded her, and she was acting like she didn’t strip for a living at one time. Common sense was missing, as Ava grabbed Faryn by her hair and pulled her back. Faryn grabbed on to the sink to keep from falling, and Ava quickly let her go. The huge belly that Faryn carried around quickly snapped her back to reality. That was her great niece and nephew that she was carrying, no matter how she felt about her. Being that she was pregnant, Ava thought that Faryn was going to leave and run tell Landon what she had just done. She was mistaken when Faryn turned around with a murderous look in her eyes.

“Bitch!” Faryn yelled as she hit Ava with a quick two-piece that knocked her to the floor. She didn’t stop there; she reached down and grabbed her hair, punching her in the head again. Ava’s scalp felt like it was on fire, as Faryn dragged her out of the bathroom by her long, naturally curly hair. She had never seen a pregnant woman move so fast and act so wild before in her life. Faryn didn’t act like she was carrying two babies or even one with the way she was behaving. Ava could see people running towards them, but Landon got there first.

“Let her go Faryn! The fuck you doing fighting while you’re pregnant. This is our damn wedding reception,” Landon fussed as he picked his wife up and sat her down at the nearest table.

“Let that bitch go! I’m bout’ to stomp them babies right up out that hoe!” Ava ranted as she ran behind Faryn, trying to hit her.

She was punching Landon in his back trying her best to get to his wife. A hard lick to the side of her face quickly put a stop to that.

“You got the right one today bitch!” Makena yelled as she ran out of the crowd and punched her auntie.

Ava tried to fight back, but Makena was doing her dirty. Landon called Roman and Chad over to sit with Faryn while he tried to break up yet another fight. Ella was yelling for them to stop, but no one seemed to be listening. Things only got worse when Kane walked through the door and pushed Makena off his wife. When Landon saw how hard his sister was pushed, he was ready for war.

“This nigga got me fucked up!” Landon fumed as he came out of his suit jacket and started throwing blows at Kane.

Someone was helping Ava up from the floor as her nephew beat her husband down to where she once was. Kane proved that he was a real hoe as he tried to protect his face, instead of fighting back. He had a feeling that something was going to pop off and he was prepared. Landon didn’t notice the small gun that he pulled out of his pants, but Chad did.

“Kane!” Ava yelled when she saw her husband raise the weapon.

“Lord Jesus!” Ella screamed.

People started running and ducking for cover, as Chad came out of nowhere. He grabbed Kane’s arm, ripping the gun from his hand and shoving it in his own pocket. It took Aiden and Raheem a minute to get Landon off him, and Kane was grateful. He only went there to get his wife, but he decided to be nosey. He wanted to see what Faryn looked like in her wedding dress and he was sorry that he did. He heard all the noise before he even walked in, but he didn’t know what was going on. He never thought that he would see Makena beating the shit out of his wife and that had his blood boiling when he did. He was happy that he came strapped, even though it didn’t do him any good.

“Shut this bitch down! The reception is over!” Landon roared angrily as he made his way back over to his wife.

“Are you okay baby?” Faryn asked as she inspected his face.

“The fuck was you doing fighting Faryn?” Landon barked.

“That bitch started with me. But yes, me and your babies are fine,” Faryn replied sarcastically as she rolled her eyes.

“Don’t start with me, Faryn. This is not a good time,” Landon warned as he grabbed her hand and walked away.

“This is ridiculous. We can’t even get together as a family without trying to kill up each other!” Ella yelled angrily.

“Fuck this family! Y’all don’t ever have to worry about seeing my wife and daughter again!” Kane barked, as he limped to the door with Ava following close behind him.
