“Make sure you get some rest baby. Forget the video game and the tv. Just relax and enjoy your time alone,” Faryn said as they strapped the babies in their car seats.

“Shit, you ain’t said nothing. I’m going my black ass right back to sleep,” Landon said as he yawned again.

Faryn gave him a kiss before she pulled off and left to go pick up Harley. When she pulled up, Harley and Kyron were already outside sitting on their porch. Kyron came to the car to speak and see the babies.

“Aww Faryn, they are so cute. They’re getting so big,” Harley cooed as she continued to look in the back seat at them while Faryn drove.

“I know girl. Landon was talking all that shit about wanting one more when they were first born. His ass changed his mind after the first week,’ Faryn laughed.

“Well, Kyron and I have finally decided to try. We got our home and now we want to fill it up with some babies,” Harley said.

“I’m so happy for you, friend. I can’t wait to get that phone call.”

“Yes, but please let it be just one. Twins don’t run in my family, so I should be fine.”

“Besides my mama, I don’t know of any other twins in my family. Hell, I barely knew anybody in my family,” Faryn noted as they pulled up to the mall.

Harley helped her load the babies and their bags in the double stroller before they went inside.

“Bitch, that stroller is everything. It looks too pretty for them to even use,” Harley complimented.

“I know, I love it. Makena ordered it from Saks, so I know it cost a grip,” Faryn replied.

She and Harley walked from store to store, with Faryn buying something in just about all of them. She’d already put some of her purchases in her trunk and she would probably have to make a second trip. Besides buying a few thigs for the twins, she got Landon and the boys a lot of stuff too. The only person who she didn’t shop for was herself.

“I’m tired as hell. My lazy ass needs to walk more,” Harley said as they sat on a bench in the center of the mall while Faryn fed her son. Both babies were up, but London was just looking around while sucking on her pacifier.

“Being on the treadmill again is helping me with that. I’m trying to get the rest of this baby weight off. I gained over fifty pounds when I was pregnant,” Faryn confessed.

“How did you lose it so fast?” Harley asked.

“Breastfeeding helped, but I lived off Slim Fast and water for a while too. I haven’t lost all of it and Landon doesn’t want me too. He likes my thicker frame, but I don’t. My ass looks like it needs its own zip code,” Faryn joked.

“Girl, you are sexy. Bitches pay top dollar to get an ass like that,” Harley reminded her.

“I just want to lose about ten more pounds and I’ll be satisfied,” Faryn said as her son finished the last of his bottle.

“Let me burp him. I need all the practice I can get,” Harley said as she reached her hands out for the baby.

Faryn happily handed him over as she put his bag back underneath the stroller. She and Harley were done shopping, so they were leaving just as soon as they grabbed a bite to eat.

“Hey stranger,” someone walked up behind them and said loudly.

Both Faryn and Harley turned around at the same time and saw Monica’s ratchet ass standing there. She had on a fire red wig with some too tight jeans and a tank that showed off her muffin top. The chick that she was with was no better with some faded leggings and a belly shirt. She had a bonnet on her head and a cigarette behind her ear. They didn’t look like they were there to shop, and Monica rarely purchased anything from the mall. She preferred buying flea market knock-offs or beauty store leggings.

“Hey girl,” Harley spoke back. “What are you doing in here?”

“I just came from paying my phone bill,” Monica said as she pointed to the store behind her.

“Oh okay. So, what’s been up?” Harley asked, making small talk.

“Shit, you tell me. I haven’t seen you since you moved,” Monica noted.

“Yeah, I’ve been busy getting my place together,” Harley replied.

“Damn. Well, I guess I’m not invited to the new house,” Monica said sarcastically.

“I guess you’re right,” Harley shrugged as she cradled the now sleeping baby.
