“You know we ain’t saying shit, but word travels fast,” Chad spoke up.

“I see that,” Faryn muttered.

“Who the fuck was that bitch? That’s all I want to know. I couldn’t really see her face on the video,” Roman said.

“That was that bitch, Monica. Malia’s sister. I’m sick of that hoe always coming for me,” Faryn argued.

“I know she ain’t on no bullshit about you being with Landon,” Chad stated.

“No, it’s nothing like that. I knew her before I knew Landon. I didn’t even know that she was Malia’s sister when we got together. She’s Harley’s friend,” Faryn pointed out.

“She was my friend,” Harley corrected with a roll of her eyes.

“Bum bitch called my babies ugly and I lost it,” Faryn replied.

“That bitch must have a death wish. Maybe she should have asked her sister about me,” Roman added.

“Let it go Roman. She got what she asked for and it’s over,” Faryn replied.

“Yeah, she most definitely got that ass spanked,” Chad laughed.

“Call us when you get home baby sis. Me and Chad want to see the kids,” Roman requested.

“Okay. We’re going to get food and then I’ll be there right after,” Faryn said.

“Bet, we’ll see you later,” Roman said before hanging up.

“Lil sis must be crazy. She got the whole game fucked up if she thinks this shit is over with,” Chad spoke up.

“Shit, with the way Faryn beat her ass, it is over with,” Roman laughed.

“Why couldn’t it have been that bitch Malia instead?” Chad frowned.

“Give the damn girl a pass, bruh. She’s been calm for the past few months.”

“Fuck that bitch.” Chad frowned.

“She’s not the one that I really want. That fuck boy who Aiden’s sister is married to is the one. I’m happy that she left his ass. That way, I won’t feel bad about doing him dirty when the time comes,” Roman replied.

Kane was still public enemy number one in his eyes. He and Chad knew all about his history with Faryn and they had asked around about him. He was lame just like they’d assumed, but he was a pretender. He was still going around bad mouthing Faryn, even though it had been over two years since they were together. Aiden wanted to do him in a long time ago, but he had his sister and niece to think about. Kane had done his sister dirty and had him reconsidering his decision. Roman and Chad knew just about everyone in the projects, so it was no coincidence that they knew the chick, Shantel, who Kane had the baby with. She got put out of her apartment after Kane’s wife went there and caused a scene and his sad ass didn’t even help her and his son find another place to stay. Shantel told them all about the things he was saying about Faryn, Aiden, and Landon. He was talking reckless, and Roman and Chad weren’t feeling that. They promised Aiden that they would let it go, but they didn’t know if that was a promise that they would be able to keep.

“If she wasn’t Aiden’s sister, I would have probably tried to get at her. I like that nigga though, so I don’t want it to be no beef,” Chad said as he rolled a blunt.

“Yeah, her stuck up ass is just your time, but I’m not interested,” Roman replied.

“Since she’s Aiden’s sister, neither am I. What her husband did would be a walk in the park compared to what I would do to her. She ain’t ready for niggas like us,” Chad said, making Roman laugh as they drove around and waited for Faryn to get home.
