“That nigga got the entire game fucked up. He must not know who shorty’s brothers are,” one of the barbers said, referring to Chad and Roman.

“Y’all be careful leaving out of here. I don’t trust his ass,” April said as she peeped out the front door.

“Let me know when y’all are ready. I’ll walk y’all out,” Jimmy offered.

“We’re ready right now,” Faryn replied.

She and Harley made their next appointment with April before Jimmy walked them out and made sure they got to their car safely.

“He didn’t hit me. We just argued,” Faryn said as she watched her husband pacing back and forth with the phone up to his ear.

He was on the phone with Ella, trying to get her to ask Ava about Kane’s whereabouts. Faryn had barely made it out of the shop when her brothers started calling her to see what had happened between her and Kane. She tried to assure them that it was nothing, but they weren’t having it. She picked Akira up and continued with her original plan for the day. By the time she made it home, her brothers were already there and had filled Landon in on what was going on. He was upset with her because she didn’t call and tell him herself.

“That man don’t give a fuck about that. His bitch ass needs to get dealt with,” Roman said as he and Chad played the game on the big screen with the boys.

“Shut up you snitch,” Faryn whispered.

“That’s how you feel lil sis?” Roman asked with a smirk.

“You damn right. Y’all didn’t have to tell him nothing. Trying to get my husband locked up and shit. I already told y’all that he got a bad ass temper,” Faryn mumbled.

She got up and started the twins’ swings up again, right as Landon hung up the phone.

“What did she say?” Chad asked.

“They don’t know where that fuck boy lives right now,” Landon replied as he cast an angry glare at Faryn.

“I’m sorry baby. I should have told you, but I didn’t think it was a big deal. Nothing really happened,” Faryn said while apologizing to her husband again.

“I’ll deal with you later,” Landon said, making her brothers chuckle.

If it were anybody else, that statement about dealing with her would have been a problem. Since it was her husband, they had nothing to say about it. Landon was good to their sister, so they knew that he wasn’t going to harm her. He was pissed, and he had every right to be.

“Don’t trip brother-in-law. That nigga gon’ get what’s coming to him. That bitch Monica is on my radar too. I hope she don’t think I forgot about that fight y’all had the other day,” Chad smirked.

“What fight?” Landon asked as he turned to look at his wife once again.

“I got the snitching charge, so I might as well become a snitch,” Chad said as he and Roman fell out laughing.

“Get out! I want both of y’all out and I’m blocking y’all numbers!” Faryn threatened angrily.

“Answer my question Faryn. What fight are they talking about?” Landon asked.

“It was nothing baby. Don’t even stress yourself out over that,” Faryn said while rolling her eyes at her brothers.

“It must be something if you keep trying to hide shit from me,” Landon fussed.

“I think it’s time for us to go. Y’all be good and we’ll see y’all later,” Roman said to Lance and Lennox.

“Okay,” they both said as they continued to play the game.

“We’ll get up with you later brother-in-law. And don’t worry about nothing, we got this. You’re a family man and you need to focus on your family,” Chad said, as Landon walked them out the front door.

He shook both men’s hands right before they got into the car and pulled off. When he went back inside, Faryn was sitting on the sofa scrolling through her phone.

“Come on, so we can give them a bath,” Landon said as he picked his son up from his swing.
