“Girl, I gotta go too,” Reece said when she saw Monica getting off the stool.

She grabbed both her and Monica’s purses and followed her friend to the bathroom. She was happy that only one stall was occupied because her and Reece ran to the others. Once she was done, Monica walked out and came face to face with one of the girls that was sitting there with Roman. She was at the sink washing her hands when Monica went and stood right next to her. The other woman was staring at Monica like she was crazy, and Monica stared right back.

“Fuck you looking at?” Monica asked when she got tired of the stare down.

“Not a thing boo,” the other chick replied before she walked out of the bathroom.

“What’s her problem?” Reece asked as she came out and washed her hands.

“Girl, I don’t know and I don’t care.” Monica shrugged as she fluffed up her dry wig.

She and Reece made small talk before they walked out of the bathroom and prepared to go back to the bar. They both stopped when they saw the chick who had just walked out of the bathroom and all her friends standing there waiting.

“Roman wanted me to relay a message. Behind his sister, you better be lucky that he didn’t put a bullet in your head. Consider yourself lucky,” the woman said before she hit Monica so hard, her wig shifted and almost fell off her head.

She and Reece immediately started fighting back, but it was a waste of time. They were outnumbered, and they went down to the floor in a matter of seconds. Monica’s entire body was on fire as she was kicked and punched in every visible part. Her family always said it and it was proving to be true. Monica’s mouth had finally written a check that her ass couldn’t cash. She was getting her ass beat down and there was nothing that she could do but take it. She had learned her lesson and Roman was the teacher.
