‘That’s fucked up,” Monica said while Felica co-signed.

“Man, get y’all sister before this shit turn out bad,” Roman warned.

“Fuck you! You out here doing me dirty with this hoe while I’m pregnant,” Malia said as tears came to her eyes.

“I’m not your enemy sis, so don’t come at me like that. If I were you, I would take that money that he gave you and have an abortion. Ro ain’t cut out to be nobody’s daddy. Why would you want to have a baby by a nigga who you admit is doing you dirty anyway? We gotta do better,” Jessica said, shaking her head in pity.

“And you’re telling that bitch our business too Roman. Huh?” Malia questioned as she pushed him again.

“Keep. Your. Hands. To. Yourself.” Roman gritted, trying hard to stay calm.

“Let’s just go bruh,” Chad suggested.

“And fuck your homeless, broke ass too Chad. I’m not even surprised about you being here with him,” Malia fumed.

“Bitch, you better pick your battles. Go get that baby sucked up out your ass and move around. The man don’t want you. What else he gotta do to show you? That’s what your dumb ass gets for leaving your husband and kids for the next man. You played the game and loss. Take that L and get the fuck on,” Chad snapped.

The store employees rushed over and asked them to leave. Jessica was pissed because that was the only store that had the shoes that she wanted. She’d checked three other ones and had no luck. She didn’t care what Roman did with his girlfriend, she wasn’t leaving the mall without her shoes.

“This is some bullshit! I just want my shoes,” Jessica huffed as they left the store.

“I hope you got money because Roman ain’t buying them,” Malia said with finality.

“I really need you to stop directing your anger this way love. You need to be humble. If it wasn’t for me, you wouldn’t even have a place to stay. I hope you don’t think Ro can get an apartment in his name,” Jessica said as she, Roman, and Chad laughed.

Malia felt like a damn fool and she was sure that she looked like one too. She had abandoned her husband and kids for a man that she didn’t even know. Roman was nothing like who he pretended to be in the beginning. If she would have saw the Roman that she was seeing now, she would have never given him a second thought.

“Bitch, don’t try to play my sister like that. You’re the stupid one if their apartment is in your name and another woman is living in it,” Monica spoke up.

“No boo, I don’t need an apartment when I have a house. Why am I even entertaining these bad body hoes? Let me get my shoes, so I can go. Y’all can meet us back at the house when y’all finish up with this mess,” Jessica replied while pointing to Malia and her sisters.

“The fuck you mean this mess?” Monica asked while walking up on Jessica.

“Ro, you better get these hoes. I’m not in the mood,” Jessica warned.

“Man, y’all need to move around with all this unnecessary, drama. Malia, stop embarrassing yourself and go home baby girl. I’m not the man for you, ma. The life that I live is not a good fit for a mother. That’s why I told you that I didn’t want any kids of my own. You’re a good girl and you need to find a man that matches your personality. That man ain’t me. The streets are all that I know and you ain’t built like that. Go back home to your family and be a mother to your kids,” Roman said as the tears streamed down Malia’s face.

Roman wasn’t a bad man, but he wasn’t the relationship type. He didn’t know how to love and that was another reason why he didn’t want kids. It wouldn’t be fair to have a family knowing how he felt. There were only two women in the world to ever have a place in his heart and he didn’t have room for anyone else.

When he turned to walk away, Malia felt rage like she’d never felt before. Her entire body was shaking as heat radiated throughout her. When she saw Jessica grab Roman’s hand, she went into full attack mode. Malia was like an animal in the wild as she ran up to them and started swinging. Being that she was pregnant, neither Jessica or Roman wanted to hit her. When Roman grabbed her arms, Malia’s sisters stepped up and started hitting him as well. Jessica wasn’t gonna let them do him dirty, so she did what she was known to do and started throwing jabs in their direction. Cian hadn’t said anything since they first got there, but she didn’t think twice about jumping in to help her girl. The mall was in full pandemonium as the four women fought like they were paid professionals. Malia was still trying to swing on Roman, as Chad tried to break it all up.

When mall security came running over with a group of police officers behind them, it was hard to see who was doing what. Once the brawl was broken up, all seven of them were handcuffed, despite Chad and Roman’s claims of innocence. They were heated as they were led out of the mall and placed in the back of the squad cars. Malia and both her sisters were placed in one car, while Jessica and Cian were placed in another. Roman and Chad were driven away first and the other two cars followed.

“I can’t believe this shit. I left my kids with the neighbor until I ran here to pay my phone bill. That lady has to go to work and my stupid ass is going to jail,” Felicia ranted.

“These damn cuffs are cutting off my circulation,” Monica whined.

Malia tuned her sisters complaining out as she stared absently out the window. Never in her life had she ever been to jail and she was embarrassed about it now. In a little over a year, Malia’s life had gone from sugar to shit and she had no one else to blame but herself. Leaving Landon was the worst mistake that she’d ever made, and she wasn’t ashamed to admit it. As if she’d heard her thoughts, Monica spoke up and voiced her opinion about the situation.

“You should have stayed with Landon and continued to creep with Roman on the side. He is not main nigga material,” Monica said to Malia.

“His dog ass ain’t right for that shit. Get an abortion and go back home to your husband and kids. Thank God Landon ain’t moved on yet. He’s gonna be so happy to be a family again,” Felicia said, making Malia smile.

The thought alone was enough to lift her spirits. Malia never stopped loving her husband and it was time that she let him know it. The first thing she had to do was get him to bail her out of the situation that she was in. Once she got rid of Roman’s demon seed that was growing inside of her, she was packing up her shit and going back home to her family.
