“I know, but that hoe was convincing. I guess the seed was already planted when I talked to Lance, so it was easy for her to water it. Landon was so mad,” Faryn laughed.

“I wonder what Monica’s messy ass have to say about that,” Harley said.

“Fuck Monica. She makes me so sick.”

“She’s another one who won’t be invited to my new house. I don’t want any negative energy in my space.”

“I know that’s right,” Faryn cosigned.

“I can’t wait until you see it friend. The painters did a great job and the decorating is coming along nicely.”

“You know I’ll be one of the first to visit, but I gotta get going. My break is over, and I have an appointment in a few minutes,” Faryn said.

“Okay, call me later,” Harley requested.

“I will,” Faryn assured her before they disconnected.

She was sleepy as hell and happy that she didn’t have to cook anything. Ms. Ella was cooking a big pot of gumbo and she invited them over to eat some. Faryn had her a container in the back of Landon’s car because she needed her some food to go as well.

“Man, let me hold the spot down until the lease is up. It’s already paid up, so you might as well,” Aiden said as he rode with Landon back to Ella’s house.

He and Raheem had helped Landon move all Faryn’s personal items from her house to Landon’s. Faryn’s apartment was nice as hell, and Aiden wanted to use it as a spot to entertain females.

“The fuck you want to stay there for? Her girl is taking all the furniture and stuff to put in her new house. Faryn already gave everything away,” Landon noted.

“I don’t give a fuck. All I need is a blow-up mattress and a shower,” Aiden replied.

“I really don’t care, but it’s not my decision to make. You gotta ask Faryn about that.”

“My niece is cool. She’ll be okay with it. I only need it a few nights a week to entertain. It’s not like I’ll really be living there,” Aiden replied.

“I thought you were done entertaining random females. What happened to you settling down?” Landon asked.

“That must have been the antibiotics talking. I’m not trying to settle down with nobody right now.”

“You better start strapping up boy,” Landon warned, right as he pulled up to his grandmother’s house.

Aiden frowned when he saw Kane standing out front smoking a cigarette.

“I just want to stomp his bitch ass one good time. That’s all I need,” Aiden sneered.

“Let that shit go bruh,” Landon said as they got out of the car.

“What’s up with y’all?” Kane said as he walked over to both men with his hand extended.

“Pussy,” Aiden spat as he walked pass him without bothering to shake his hand.

“Crazy ass nigga,” Kane mumbled as he and Landon shook hands.

“What’s good bruh?” Landon asked.

“Shit, I should be asking you that,” Kane replied.

“What you mean?” Landon questioned.

“I keep hearing everybody talking about the newest member of the family, but I haven’t had the pleasure of meeting her yet. Even my wife has seen her before me. She must really be pretty if Ava said so. You know she never gives compliments,” Kane laughed.
