“I’m confused as fuck,” Landon said as soon as they walked outside.

“I am too, but what’s up bruh? We never got a chance to speak when we were inside,” Roman said as he shook Landon’s hand and watched as Chad did the same.

“I told you that I had two brothers and a sister that I hadn’t seen in a while,” Faryn replied.

“Yeah, but… damn,” Landon said as he tried to process everything that was going on.

“Hold up!” Chad said as he looked back and forth between the two of them.

“What?” Faryn questioned.

“Y’all are together?” he asked as he looked on in shock.

“Yes, this is Landon, my boyfriend and the father of my kids,” Faryn said proudly.

“We know who he is. We’ve met before,” Chad replied.

“Wait, you said kids. You have other children?” Roman asked.

“No, I’m having twins,” Faryn replied.

“Damn. It looks like it too,” Chad observed.

“How do y’all know each other?” Faryn questioned.

“Um… it’s complicated,” Roman said, not wanting to put Landon’s business out there like that.

“Nah man, it’s cool. She already knows everything.” Landon shrugged.

“Obviously not,” Faryn replied.

“Roman is the man that Malia was living with when she left,” Landon said.

“What! That’s your girlfriend?” Faryn asked her brother in shock.

“Hell no! That bitch is crazy!” Chad yelled.

“She was, but that’s a wrap. Me and relationships are a no go,” Roman replied.

“Some things never change.” Faryn smiled, knowing her brother all too well.

“Man, we gotta hook up and talk Faryn. You just don’t know how much I missed you and Akira. Shit was all fucked up when we got out of jail that last time,” Roman admitted.

“I’ve been in contact with Akira too. We need to have a dinner date, so we can talk. I have so much to tell y’all. I’m just so happy,” Faryn said as she hugged her brothers again.

“I’m scared to let your lil ass go. I feel like it might be a few more years before I see you again,” Chad said.

“That shit ain’t happening no more, if I can help it. I want your number, address, email address, social security number, and everything else,” Roman said, making her laugh.

“Where do you live Faryn?” Chad asked.

“With my man,” Faryn said, making Landon smile at her not calling him her boyfriend like always.

“This is some weird shit right here. What are the odds of this happening like this?” Roman said, shaking his head.

“You think this is crazy, Akira’s boyfriend is his stepdaddy,” Faryn laughed while pointing at Landon.
