“Hey,” she spoke while looking at her husband lustfully.

It was fucked up that she had a fine ass husband at home but had to resort to getting outside dick from Ferris. She and Blaze used to have a very active sex life, but things changed over time. Although she was cheating, it would have hurt if her husband was out there doing the same. The only reason why she did it was because he refused to touch her most times, and she had needs. Reanna always talked about divorce but that’s not really what she wanted. She loved her husband. She just wanted him to return the feelings.

“What’s up?”

Blaze grabbed his clippers from the closet and walked into the adjoined bathroom. He wanted to touchup his lining before he left and went out for the day.

“Are you going somewhere?”

“Yeah, to the rec center to shoot some hoops. Why?”

Blaze loved the young boys that hung at the center and he had become like a big brother and mentor to some of them. When he was asked to be a coach, he jumped at the chance. He was passionate about basketball, and they looked forward to the tips and training that he provided. Reanna hated that he did it because the job didn’t pay. That didn’t matter to him. Making a difference in the lives of at-risk youth meant a lot to him and he enjoyed it.

“I just thought that maybe we could do something together. Dinner or drinks, just anything.”

“I’ll have to take a raincheck on that.”

“I don’t know what’s going on with us, Blaze, but I’m trying.”

“Since when Reanna? Shit has been off with us for a while. What made you want to try now?” Blaze turned to face her, giving her his undivided attention. He was curious as to what was up with her because that was a first. He and Reanna were like married roommates who came and went as they pleased. He was good with how things had been and there was no need to change it now.

“Check your mental rolodex Blaze. I’ve always tried, even when you didn’t meet me halfway. I don’t know why but I just feel like you became distant after my last trip to the DR. Is it because other men look at me a certain way? I’m married to you so I hope that’s not the issue. You don’t have a reason to be jealous.”

“You can’t be serious,” Blaze chuckled and stopped what he was doing to look at her incredulously.

“I’m very serious. That seems to be when the trouble in our marriage started.”

“When have you ever known me to be an insecure ass nigga, Reanna? If I had any doubts about your loyalty, I wouldn’t have married you. And, trust me, niggas ain’t looking at you the way you think.” Blaze was laughing, but she didn’t get the joke.

“And what is that supposed to mean?” She wasn’t feeling his tone or the way he was laughing. His voice was dripping with sarcasm and humor.

“Nothing Reanna, nothing at all.”

“No, if you have something to say, say it.”

“Okay, but remember that you asked for it.”

“I’m listening. Speak your mind.” She folded her arms and rolled her neck expectantly.

“The shit looks a fucking mess! Your legs are too small for all that ass and it don’t go with your size. Your clothes don’t fit right and you should really reconsider wearing leggings. That only makes it worse. There, I said it.”

For some reason, Blaze felt good after finally coming clean with his wife. She never once asked him about her work because he would have been honest with her a long time ago if she had. Unlike Reanna, Blaire was already thick with thighs and ass. She had a tummy tuck and had the fat transferred to her ass and hips, so her work looked natural. It was fucked up that she hyped Reanna up, knowing that her girl looked a mess.

“You a muthafucking lie nigga! I know I look good and I always get compliments saying the same. I guarantee you thatsome of them same niggas who be smiling in your face be the main ones looking.”

“Yeah, niggas are looking but they’re laughing too. I can’t even get mad when I overhear some of the shit that I hear, especially when I agree with most of it.”

“Wow, so now we’re finally getting to the root of the problem. It’s bad enough that I gotta deal with these hoes out here hating on me. I never thought I’d have to come home and get it from my husband too.”

“Man,” Blaze drawled while laughing uncontrollably, “you already know that I don’t do all that arguing shit. You got that Reanna. I’m gone.”

He didn’t even feel like messing with his lining anymore. It would have to wait until he got back home later. Usually, Sundays would be his time with his grandma but she was at the casino, so he would chill with her the following day. He was ready to get the fuck away from Reanna before he really hurt her feelings. He took it easy on her but he could have really had her in there crying. That wasn’t his goal though. He was just trying to be as honest as she asked him to be. As usual, Reanna wasn’t receptive to anything that didn’t paint her in a perfect light. She loved to criticize but she didn’t do too well with criticism.

“Bye! Fuck nigga,” Renna mumbled that last part to herself when he walked out of the room.

She couldn’t wait to call and tell Blaire what his hating ass had just said. She wanted to kick her own ass for humbling herself and trying to be the bigger person. Truthfully, she was just hoping to get some dick but she would play with her own pussy before she gave it to her husband. After what he’d just said, he didn’t deserve it.

A few minutes later, Blaze was driving out of their gated community and heading to the rec center. Reanna just didn’t know that she was making his decision to leave the marriage easier by the day. Blaze really wanted to sit down and have a serious talk with her, but she needed to keep an open mind. If he couldn’t even tell her about her disproportionate body, he was almost sure she wouldn’t want to hear anything else.
