“Yeah, okay, you’re gonna be laughing all the way to divorce court.”

“Let’s just say that Blaze is cheating with your Nana’s nurse, I can’t say shit about it. I’ve been doing the same damn thing way longer than he has.”

“The shit with you and Ferris ain’t all that deep though. It ain’t like y’all spend no time together or nothing. Y’all rent a room or go by his grandma and fuck. Your husband, on the other hand, is making moves that I’m sure you know nothing about.”

“Like?”

Reanna was curious as to what Blaire knew that she didn’t. She loved her girl, but the shit she said rubbed her wrong sometimes. Blaire probably didn’t mean to be, but she could be a little judgmental at times. That’s exactly why she never told her about the stuff that she took from her job for Ferris. She would have more than likely had something to say about that too. Just like she’d unknowingly hurt Reanna’s feelings by the comments she’d just made about their fling.

“Did you know that he left the barbershop where he was working? Did you know that he has a grand opening for his new shop?”

“What new shop?”

Reanna was taken aback and admittedly embarrassed. Her girl was right, and Blaze was making moves like he was a single nigga. She was in her feelings, and she had some words for him whenever they did talk. Their marriage seemed to be going from bad to worse, and she didn’t know what to do to fix it. She didn’t want a divorce, but maybe she had to make him think otherwise to get his mind right. If Blaze got his shittogether, she would drop Ferris and do whatever she could to get her marriage back on track. She would be satisfied with just a little attention and affection. Unfortunately, she didn’t get either and that’s what she went outside of her marriage to find. Ferris wasn’t overly affectionate either but at least he desired her in the bedroom.

“Girl, you better get your head in the game before it’s too late. Ain’t no way in hell Blaze should be making these kind of power moves without you knowing about it.”

“I agree but I’m gonna get some shit straight as soon as he gets his ass home. Maybe I need to pay your Nana a visit soon too. Does her nurse go there every day? I might have to lay this Renada hoe the fuck out.”

“Finally, my bitch is back. But I don’t really know what days she’s there, but it shouldn’t be too hard to figure out. I’ll have to ask Zita,” Blaire replied, speaking of their cousin.

“Zita? How would she know anything?”

“Girl, her stupid ass been helping Blaze with Nana on her days off. My mama told her she’s a damn fool for letting them play her like that. Since Blaze was her fav, he should be figuring shit out all on his own. But you already know how Zita is. If money is involved, she’s all in. I’m more than sure that Blaze is paying her for whatever she’s doing. That bitch don’t do nothing for free. I see her sad ass daddy has been going over there a lot more too.”

“She better enjoy whatever money Blaze is giving her cause I seriously doubt if she’s in the will,” Reanna laughed at her own joke, and Blaire joined in.

“Bitch! What will? Besides her house, Nana ain’t got shit to give to nobody. I hope she got life insurance.”

“Eight kids and no will is a recipe for disaster.”

“I agree but back to the matter at hand. What do you plan on doing about your little dilemma?”

“At this point, only two things can happen. We’re either gonna stay together or not.”

“Are you even listening to yourself right now?”

“You were the main one telling me to divorce him.”

“Yeah because you were unhappy and dick deprived. I didn’t say divorce him and give him to the next bitch.”

“Hell, I don’t even feel like I’m married most of the time anyway.”

“Meaning what? You’re just gonna give up on your marriage and let this bitch win?”

“Do I look stupid to you? Ain’t many niggas outchea that’s fucking with my husband in looks or body. I don’t want a divorce at all but, if it happens, it’ll be because we both decide that it’s best. But to get divorced so he can be with another bitch ain’t happening. I just wish he would go back to the Blaze that he used to be. I would drop Ferris in a heartbeat and try to push out some babies. Shit, it’s been so long since he touched me, I might get pregnant on the first try. I just don’t understand what happened to us. Once I had this surgery, that seemed to be it for my marriage.”

“You might not believe this but some men are jealous of their women. If they see you getting too much attention and shit, they start to feel insecure. I really think that’s what happened with my brother. Now, he’s withholding the dick, trying to make you feel as insecure as he does. Your body is banging bitch and don’t let nobody tell you otherwise.”

“Thank you, boo.” Reanna was all smiles until she heard the front door alarm chime. “Girl, your brother just got here. Let me call you back.”

Reanna didn’t even give Blaire a chance to reply before she hung up the phone. She was just in time because Blaze walked into their room a few minutes later.

“What’s up?” he spoke and nodded his head at her like he was talking to a nigga on the streets and not his wife.

“That’s what I want know.” Reanna had a lot on her mind and she was done holding her tongue. Blaze disappeared into their walk-in closet, but she still heard him clearly.

“What do you want to know?”
