Chapter Eight

Cadence woke in theearly morning and felt arms around her. The harmony their bodies made was so very soothing. She smiled and turned, nuzzling her face against his bare chest.Wait, bare chest?

She looked up, and he was smiling at her. “Good morning, Cadence. Or rather, good dawn.”

“Good dawn, Raek. You are with me.” She squirmed against him lightly.

“Leska suggested it.”

Cadence smiled, slid a hand behind his neck, and pulled him down for a kiss. She wrapped her thigh around his and moved against him, stroking his erection with her folds and the slick that emerged whenever they were in contact.

Raek was resistant for a moment, and then he leaned in and caressed her jaw, neck, and down to her breast. His fingers were careful, stroking, touching, learning.

Cadence felt the rhythm of his energy in every touch, and it was getting faster. He moved down her body, kissing and humming against her, waking the nerves and making her body sing. He spent a lot of time caressing her belly and the new harmony that made her its home.

When his mouth heated her sex, she started a low shiver that ended in a soft cry. He had sent her a soft pulse, but he sent it through her clit. Bright shivers ran through her, and she tried to catch her breath.

She was just calming when Raek started again, but this time, his fingers joined in the fun. She slid her fingers through the slick silk of his hair and held him to her, her frantic sounds increased in pitch, and then she was wrapped in the warm pulse of her own release again.

Raek chuckled and moved up her body, fitting his cock to her entrance as he eased into her.

She looked up at him, dazed. “Hello.”

He smiled as he slowly surged and retreated into her until he was as far as he could comfortably go.

Cadence panted. “Oh. That feels... Oh.”

He started moving inside her, and her eyes fluttered shut as she reached up to grip his arms as she focused on the feel of him.

Sweat coated her skin, and she moaned and whimpered as heat and tension built again. She dug her nails against his skin and wrapped her legs around his hips. His groan was low and ran through her.

“Cadence, open your eyes, sweet.”

She opened her eyes and met his gaze. Her body hummed hard against his, and he smiled. “Hello.”

He rocked into her. Dragging back and then thrusting forward. She started to quiver as she kept her gaze on his, and then she went off again, her body clutching at his, and a long moan followed a soft gasp as the internal flutters stroked him.

He grunted and surged into her, holding deep, pressed against her. His body shook, and his energy throbbed against her, setting her off again.

Their child was secure between them.
