“Asher is happy for her and thinks you’re an idiot,” Brynn says with a laugh. Olivia turns to me and signs with Brynn speaking it.“I am very happy for you. Aunt Brynn is the best and I hope I can come to New York and visit you.”

“Can you help me sign this back to her?” I ask Brynn. “I want to try again, even if I’m bad at it.”

Her smile makes my chest ache, but she helps me, moving my hands as I say the words, knowing she can read my lips if I screw up too bad.“You are welcome any time, and I agree, she is the best.”

Olivia signs back.“Thank you and you did much better.”

I grin and speak so she can read my lips. “Hopefully your aunt will teach me more.”

Brynlee’s eyes find mine. “You want to learn?”

I look at Olivia and then to Brynn. “Of course I do, it’s important I can communicate with your family.”

Her eyes fill with unshed tears and she looks away, but Asher is staring at me he tips his bottle at me and smiles. “I get it now.”

I’m not sure what he gets, but before I can ask, Phoebe comes outside, ordering us all inside to help settle a fight between Rowan and Grady.

After our talk with her family, we head back to her house, pack a bag, and ride back to New York City. We arrive at my penthouse and head up, it’s late, I’m tired, but I know there’s no chance in hell I’m going to get any sleep. “Wait, you have yourownelevator?” Brynn asks.

“Wedo.”

This will all be hers in eight days.

“Right, I’m going to live here.” The way she says it is almost like she can’t believe it. “Because I’m marrying a billionaire and he has his own elevator.”

I laugh a little. “I’d probably have this same thing if I were just a millionaire.”

“Oh, of course, us common folk just use the stairs.”

My gaze moves to the area where the stairs are. “You’re welcome to do that, but it’s one hundred and thirty floors.”

Her eyes widen. “What?”

“It’s a long walk.”

She nods. “I’d say.”

“Come on.” I laugh as I guide her over, scan my fob, and the elevator door opens. “It takes us directly into the penthouse.”

“Of course it does,” she laughs to herself as she gets in. “How big is it? The penthouse, not the elevator.”

It takes a few minutes to get up to the entrance, since we have to go up over a hundred floors.

“It’s a good size. There are seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms and it’s three full floors.”

Brynn’s mouth drops. “It has more bathrooms than bedrooms?”

“I told you it’s ridiculous.”

“And you live here alone?”

I shake my head. “No, Cliff and Celeste live here too.”

She laughs at that. “Let me guess, Celeste is your . . .”
