Like he’d do anything for her.

Their love was strong.

It was unbreakable, no matter what the obstacles put in front of them.

She’d known Capone would come after her.

For love, she had to be brutal, to go into what they’d done with her eyes wide open.

Fantasies and daydreams had kept her going for years, but the reality of Capone, living each day with him, was so much better.

She was laid on top of him again. He joked she pinned him like a wrestler. Lucia had no notion of doing it. Usually, she fell asleep curled up on his side or with Capone spooning her. In the night, she’d crawl on top of him like a heavy brick. Seeing as he never pushed her to the floor, he liked it, that big fibber.

“You smell good,” he groaned into her neck, his hand had already slid under the sheets to dive into her panties. “We’ll fuck again and then get food before we leave.”

He’d already worked her up into a moaning wreck when she asked, “why does sex come before food?” Capone didn’t miss a beat attaching his mouth to her breast, “because my cock isn’t as patient as your belly is. Now ride your man and get it,nena.”

He wasn’t wrong.

“Yes, sir, boss.” She saluted, but he made her groan when he toyed with her nipples. The wicked man knew how to work her body better than she did. “But you’re buying me cake too for making me wait.”

“Cake for breakfast?” He started her moving with hands on her hips, so impatient was her man. She complied by riding him slowly, the pleasure already started in the pit of her stomach.

“Why not? I’m having a sexy biker for breakfast too.”

His smirk was everything wicked and sinful, and it was the start of the end because first breakfast took over.

“Ughn. I love how you fuck my stresses away.”

A rumble of laughter traveled through her shoulder where his mouth rested. “Me and my dick are on standby, nena, for whenever you need treatment.”

They fucked and then showered. After meeting up with the other three to say bye to his old club brothers, they climbed into the rented Hummer and headed to a favorite café not far, and fed their faces until Lucia was stuffed.

“We need to make a stop first,” she told the car as they piled back in, when she gave Preacher the address for the GPS, Capone’s head whipped her way, his eyes darkened, “Lucia.”

“Baby, we have time.” She gripped his hand.

It was long overdue, and Capone climbed out of the Hummer after her, some fifteen minutes later, when Preacher pulled the car into the private cemetery. Lucia wasn’t new to the cemetery, she always came once a month to bring fresh flowers. She also knew Capone had paid almost half a million dollars for the marble building housing his family, but he’d never once been here. She clutched his hand in both of hers and kissed his shoulder, “Let’s say hi to your family before we leave, baby.”

Her man had been playful all morning, but now he stood stoically at the mausoleum entrance. Lucia loved Capone taking the lead, she was more than happy with how he dictated their sex life or protected her. But in this, she had to be more than the shy, passive girl. With her arms full of flowers she’d bought at the side of the road, she cuddled up against him and led him down the four steps.

Lucia placed the flowers and then pressed her hand in support against Capone’s spine. She watched him touch each stone slab on the wall with the name plaques identifying his parents and siblings. He spoke in low, murmured Spanish, and Lucia’s heart hiccupped when he got to Santiago’s vault. “I miss you, you little shit.” He said.

Some pain would never fully disperse, but she could be his rock when grief stole Capone’s heart. She could be the one who understood his grief because she loved and missed his family too. He curled an arm around her and pressed his lips to her forehead.

“You are a blessing, Lucia.”

“And you are my dream.”

“Thanks for this.”

She stroked a palm over his heart. “You take care of me. I take care of you.”

In life, that was what was most important.

She’d grown up surrounded by materialism.

But having stuff didn’t nourish her heart as Capone did.
