I don’t even know the time, but most people have started to make their way home. The DJ just played the last song, I danced with Gray.

I still can’t believe he hired a whole fricking nightclub for me. It looks so pretty that I felt emotion choke in my throat when his surprise was revealed.

I’d love to say I knew all about it, he’s usually pretty transparent, but I seriously thought we were going out to dinner.

He thought of everything. The décor is stunning, the music and buffet-style food, not to mention he only invited people Ilike.

Christ, it feels good having him hold me.

I love being in his arms—on his lap, feeling his hands span around my waist, keeping me close.

Gray is a notorious affection slut where I’m concerned and all night, though I had to be the belle of the ball and socialize with everyone, he wasn’t far behind. Touching me. Letting me know he was nearby with just a brush of his fingers on my hip, my waist, my back or shoulder.

“I suppose I should forgive you. The cake was epic. AndTrinity Zonedid do an exclusive gig just for me.” Seeing him on stage with his guitar was the icing on the cake. If not for being a millionaire businessman, Gray would suit being a rock star. I nuzzle over his face, using a hold on his cheeks to keep him still for my administrations. Poor boy is sober as a judge, whereas I am deliciously merry and so in love with him, I can’t stand it. “Thank you for my party, baby. Did I ever tell you, that you’re the sweetest boy I know?”

He smiles and kisses the tip of my nose, melting my hard exterior. Only with Gray, I’m all soft all of the time. I feel things with him I’ve never allowed myself to experience and you know… it doesn’t suck at all.

“You’ve said it a few times. Have you enjoyed yourself?”

I didn’t want a party or a big fuss making for my birthday, but he completely floored me

I’d been crazy content to spend the evening with Gray at home.

But this means so much to me, that he’d go through all his sly, secretive plans to do this for me.

I’m ready to show him my gratitude by letting him make out with me while we wait for Joe to circle the block, he couldn’t get parked when Gray called him a bit ago. Right as I’m brushing my lips to Gray’s, my phone pings with a message and I rear up my head, almost colliding with my hubby’s gorgeous roman shaped nose.

Gray groans at the lost kiss.

But I’m already unlocking my phone screen because all night our dog-sitter has been sending me update pictures of the boys.

And each one has me more aggrieved.

Oh, she’s a nice kid. Uses manners, seems friendly enough, doesn’t drive like a lunatic down the street. Her family live not far from our house, a high school kid, ready to graduate. I’m sure she’s got a crush on Gray. I mean, look at him, gorgeous silver fox in the making. She about blushed as red as a tomato the first day she came to our house and my husband opened the door to her dressed in his manwhore sweatpants. I just bet she’s rifled through his underwear drawer tonight and sniffed all his colognes.

Can’t fault her, it would be something crazy eighteen year old India would do too.

Really though, she’s a good kid, and she’s stayed with the pups a few times for us.

But these photos…I want to punch her good girl face.

“What are they doing now?”

Gray’s amused. Before I even look at him, I hear it in his voice.

I scowl and turn the screen to show him Vinny and Billy fast asleep on her lap.

That’s how it’s been all fucking night.

Those little traitors getting affection from anyone it seems.

Earlier, she sent an update of Vinny curled in her arms fast asleep like a new born baby with his paw on her hand. Then it was Billy’s turn giving her chin kisses with his little pink tongue.

He’s only supposed to give me,his mommy, those chin kisses.

“We have to go home right now. Now, Grayson.” I huff, jealousy seething out of my drunk pores.

He only laughs and gets me to my feet and his arm around my waist, leading me outside to our car.
