“I’m in the bathroom,” I whispered into the comms.

“Copy that,” said Ghostie. “Slavanka needs your help at thecommand center, so hurry it up.”

“Got it. I’ll be there in five.”

I pulled both duffel bags off the cart. I hid the first oneunder the vanity, and then I unpacked the other. Just as I’d requested, it wasfilled with the ultimate collection of bride squad gear.

I carefully refolded each black monokini and put a matchingpair of black Odegaard heels behind them on the vanity. Then I got to the bride’soutfit.

Hot damn, Justin!

That boy sure knew what he was doing.

If he had been a basic ass bitch, he would have given her awhite monokini in the same style as all the others.

But he was Justin, and he worked for Odegaard. So of coursehe’d freaking nailed it.

The neckline on the bride’s monokini dipped way lower than theothers. And to really make her stand out, he’d included white gloves, a garter, and a crown that spelled out BRIDE in diamond-studded letters.

I adjusted the crown a little bit to get the presentationperfect and then grabbed the final thing out of the duffel bag – a fancy pieceof parchment with a printed note:

Here’s a little something to help you celebrate your finalweekend as a single girl.

XOXO

Your Future Husband

Perfect.I propped it up against the crown and stoodback to admire my handiwork. The bride was gonna be SO excited when she found this.

I kind of wanted to stick around to see their reactions, but Slavankaneeded my help. And anyway…this wouldn’t be the last of my time with thesegirls. They were a crucial part of phase 4.

I jumped up onto the counter and loosened all the screws onthe air vent. It still stayed in place, but if someone say…kicked it frominside the air duct later on in the rescue mission, it would pop right out. OnceI was sure it was perfect, I ducked out of the bathroom and made my way up overto the command center.

Slavanka was waiting me for when I got off the elevator.

“What’s the problem?” I asked.

“No computer in command room,” said Slavanka. “Only screens.”

“Well they must be somewhere.”

“Yes, yes.”

“They’re in an adjacent room,” said Ghostie into my earpiece.“And there are currently three guards in there.”

“So what’s the problem?” I asked. “It’s easy to distractthree men. And also quite fun.”

Ghostie growled.

“Oh, I get it. You don’t want me to get triple teamed untilyou have access to the cameras so you can watch, you naughty little boy.”

“No,” said Ghostie. “The command center has a camera watchingall the servers. So one of you needs to distract the guard watching the monitorswhile the other one sneaks past the guards and uploads the virus.”

Slavanka held up a thumb drive. “I upload virus.”

“Alright then. I’ll make sure no one in the command centersees you.”

“Should you have a codeword for when the coast is clear?”asked Ghostie.
