“Oh, fuck!” He grabs a towel and covers the end of his dick with it. After a few grunts, he tosses the towel to the floor and stands there, panting.
I’m out of breath, too, as I stare at him. Without thinking, I walk to him and trace the lines and ridges of his chest and stomach. He lifts my chin and gently kisses me.
“When we eventually do have sex, you are in so much trouble.”
“Trouble?” I’m grinning, happy to know I had this effect on him.
He pulls up his pants and zips them. Then he slaps myass. “Trouble.” He bends down and grabs the towel he discarded. “Looks like I’ll need to do some laundry. Don’t want your cousin finding this.”
I cross my arms even though I’m still standing there half-naked.
He tilts his head as his eyes move down. “Never would have guessed that.”
I glance down. “What?”
“You shaved your pubic hair into a heart shape?”
I laugh. “No, actually, I lasered off the other hair. I like hearts.”
“Damn.” He adjusts himself. “When your cousin gets back, we are talking to him. Agreed?”
“Agreed.”
“We should get some dinner.”
I step into the hall so he can get out of the bathroom.
“But you will need to put some clothes on first.” He walks toward Durango’s bedroom.
“I can do that. Ozzie?”
He turns around.
“Are you really going to sleep in there?”
He laughs. “Yeah. And you are going to sleep in your room with the door locked.”
I open my mouth to argue.
“No, don’t even try. I already crossed a line today. I won’t cross any more. Not yet.”
Not yet. He’s right. And I shouldn’t push him even though I want to. I need to be patient and wait.
I clean up and get dressed, but before I make it out of my room, my phone rings. It’s my parents again. I’m stillignoring them. After Durango told them everything that happened, crazy me thought they’d be appalled by John’s behavior. I mean, they did say they were disappointed. My dad said he was disappointed we couldn’t work things out and that I wasn’t open to couple’s counseling.
The ringing stops but starts again a moment later. This time, it’s Millie. While my parents probably put her up to calling, I still answer. She doesn’t agree with them but is stuck living near them. That can’t be easy on her.
“Hey, Millie.”
“You can probably guess why I’m calling. Mom’s here.”
“I don’t want to talk to her.”
“Oh, honey!” my mom says.
I guess speakerphone was on.
“I’m sorry I’ve pushed that man on you. I was blind to who he really was.”
