I smirk, pulling her in closer. “Told you I’d have you begging for more.”

A satisfied hum slips from her lips, her fingers tracing lazy shapes along my skin.

Yeah. I’m completely fucking ruined for her.

My eyes drift shut, the tension in my body starting to ease, but then she shifts, lifting off the bed. My brows pull together as she reaches for her clothes.

I shoot out a hand, my fingers curling around her wrist, stopping her. “Where are you going?”

She glances back at me, brows drawn. “I have to go, Ryan.”

“No, you don’t.” I tug her toward me. No way in hell I’m letting her leave.

She laughs, breathless. “Oh yeah?” Her smile wavers slightly, tension slipping back into her face. “What about the guys?”

I lean over her, bracing myself on either side of her head, caging her in. “They don’t come in here,” I murmur, dropping my lips to her ear. “Which means I get to keep you all to myself.”

Her eyes meet mine, lighting up. Fuck, they’re so pretty. “You want me to stay?”

“Hell yeah, I do.” I brush my mouth against hers. “You’re mine for the night.”

She pretends to consider it, but I already know she’s not leaving. “Fine,” she says, rolling her eyes. “But if you snore, I’m kicking you.”

I let out a scoff. “I don’t snore. I’m a fucking gentleman.”

“We’ll see about that,” she mutters, scrunching her nose in that way that makes me want to kiss her stupid.

“Shut up and let me hold you,” I whisper, pulling her against me. She fits perfectly, like her body was made for mine. Warm, soft… perfect.

My arm drapes over her waist, my fingers drawing lazy circles on her hip. She shifts, her leg hooking over mine, and it settles me in a way I didn’t know I needed or even wanted.

“I like this,” I mumble feeling more comfortable than I have in a while.

She shifts, her lips curling into a smirk. “Me being naked in your bed?” she teases.

I laugh quietly, squeezing her a little tighter. “Well, yeah, but it’s not just that. I like having you here. These quiet moments, when it’s just us… with no one around.”

She tilts her head, catching my gaze. “You’re getting soft on me, Reed.”

I grin, brushing my nose against hers. “Maybe I am, but I’ve never had a girl as a friend before. Someone I can just hang out with.”

She raises an eyebrow. “Did I just get friend-zoned?”

I laugh, leaning in to kiss her quickly before pulling back to meet her eyes. “Not even close, Curls. I want you in ways no friend should want another friend.”

She tries to hide her smile, but it beams out of her anyway. “Yeah?”

I nod, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. “Yeah.”

I kiss her again, deeper this time, feeling the way she melts into it, her fingers tracing the side of my neck. When I pull away, she’s still grinning, a little out of breath.

“I like these moments too,” she says, her voice soft, sending a flutter through my chest.

I press a kiss to the crown of her head and close my eyes. I could stay like this forever.

But of course, I can’t help myself.

I crack one eye open, glancing down at her curled against me, a smile tugging at my lips.
