“Why are you so worried about doing it now? It’s easier than stealing a stone fucking bird like last year.”
“I just want to get it over with. Should I ask Tinsley?”
“Hell no, Tinsley is not driving us,” Keaton hisses.
“She can do it. Besides, she’s going to Samhain with me anyways. Might as well give her the full experience,” Finley grinds out.
“Don’t fucking remind me. That was not an easy decision for Reed or me. Don’t flaunt it.”
“Wouldn’t you rather it be someone you trust?”
As they start to bicker again, I make myself known. “Why do you need a driver?”
Keaton looks over at me in surprise while Finley looks pleased.
“Hey, sweetheart, want to do this asshole and me a favor? I’ll love you forever.” Finley gives me a flirty look as he comes over to throw his arm around my shoulders.
I shrug him off “Depends on what I’m helping with and what car I get to drive.”
“So we need to pull a prank,” Finley tells me.
“Fin. No.” Keaton shakes his head.
“Are you keeping something from your best friend, Keaton?” I tsk at him.
Keaton makes his way over to me. “You don’t need to be involved.”
“See, Keat baby, you’re just making me want to know even more.” I pat his chest.
His eyes glance down at the contact then back up to me. Before I can move my hand, he grasps it in his, his thumb caressing the back of my hand.
“Before you agree, you can’t tell a single soul. Not even Tinsley.” I nod, so he continues. “We have a task we must perform. I can’t tell you why, but to do it, we need a getaway driver.”
“Are you robbing a bank?” I would like to say, if the answer is yes, I could deny him, but I don’t think I can.
“Nah. Nothing that illegal,” Finley assures me from beside us.
I pull my hand back suddenly. I forgot he was even here. Keaton has the unique ability to make me forget the rest of the world.
“We have to TP a house. I asked Reed to drive, but he said that this was something I had to do myself to prove that I’m a man or some shit. Fucking ironic seeing as we fucking helped him with his.” Keaton turns, running his hand over his head.
“I’m in. Pick me up at dark.” I don’t know if it’s seeing his stress or the fact that the idea of danger turns me on a little bit, but I find myself excited.
“Yes! Thank you, Morgan. You’re a lifesaver. We can get this shit done tonight.” Finley wraps me in a hug, twirling me. “I owe you. Any favor and it’s yours.”
I roll my eyes at him. “No favor needed.” I risk a quick glance to Keaton. Finley doesn’t miss it though. When my eyes meet his again, he winks.
“You can drive Keaton’s. See you at ten.”

Chapter 7
Keaton
“Idon’t like this,” I tell Finley as we pull up to Morgan’s.
“Should have thought about it earlier. You left me no choice but to ask her or Tinsley. At least we know she won’t say anything.” He shrugs.
