“In more ways than one.” I wink at her.

She blushes.

“That’s all we have time for today. I’ll be back for my regularly scheduled live Wednesday. Don’t forget to get your ingredients.”

I watch as she turns off the live before turning toward me. She takes another large bite.

I smirk as I see hot sauce stay on the corner of her mouth.

“This is the best taco. I’ve been living wrong my whole life.” She sets it down, wiping her hands on a paper towel.

I move in closer, pulling her into my arms.

“You have a little something,” I tell her.

Instead of using my finger, I lean in, kissing the corner of her mouth.

She freezes for a moment but then melts into me. When I kiss the other corner, she leans with me.

“You are such a beautiful person inside and out, Ror. The way you interact with those people. You truly care.”

She smiles. “They are my friends. Most of them at least. I think we have a duty as public personas to get to know the people who put us here. Without them, we wouldn’t get to do what we love.”

I shake my head. “I’m going to kiss you now.”

Before she can give me permission, I take what I’ve been craving. Her lips on mine are exactly what I imagined, yet so far above anything I could conceive. She’s a walking contradiction.

As I press her against the counter, my lips seeking more of her, she opens up, her tongue sneaking past my lips to find my own tongue waiting eagerly.

She doesn’t hesitate. She meets me kiss for kiss, touch for touch. I swear she makes me stupid. My mind loses all thought other than how it feels to be with her right now in this moment.

I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else on God’s green earth.

After several moments, a loud slamming door makes us break apart.

“Oh, don’t mind me. Just your celibate roommate over here trying not to have to burn my panties from watching you two. Continue on.”

I bury my head in Aurora’s neck as she laughs.

“Sorry, Holls. We got a little carried away.”

She tsks her tongue. “Don’t you ever apologize for living your best life. I have to get to work anyway. You know what would make up for making me question whether our friendship could survive a threesome?”

Aurora snorts. “You did not.”

“Rory, my girl. You are sexy on your own, but add that tanned god in with you, and hell, I’d happily be the filling in that sandwich. Which is awkward because you’re also my best friend and like a sister. So for traumatizing me, I think I deserve breakfast tacos,” she demands.

I chuckle. “I mean, I was about to go down and have a taco for breakfast, but I wouldn’t mind you joining.”

Holland groans, “See, the man is dirty as fuck. I’m taking my tacos and going. Love you, Rory.”

She moves to the kitchen, grabbing the plate with the tacos we left abandoned before heading out the door.

Aurora taps my chest, getting my attention.

“She was kidding. We don’t do that with one another. Like we won’t have a threesome.” She looks nervous as she tells me.

“Ror, baby. I would never want that. You’re the only woman I want.” I lean in, kissing her lips again.
