“But, Papa! I don’t want to take a nap.” Jessa whined. Destiny agreed, napping did not sound like a fun time. “It’s clear that you both might need one.” Pops said as he pressed a kiss against her head.

“How about this, you don’t have to sleep but you do need to lay down and rest. You can lay in our bed together and we will lay down beside you and keep you company.” Destiny pondered what Papa suggested. She was tired, but she didn’t think she would actually fall asleep. Sighing, Destiny nodded her head and looked towards Jessa knowing she would agree.

The opportunity to cuddle with their Daddies’ would be too much for her to resist and Destiny knew it. Once all the cleanup from lunch was done, Papa carried Destiny into their room with Pops trailing just behind holding Jessa.

Once everyone was settled, Destiny and Jessa cuddled between two very deliciously hard and warm Daddies’ ready to rest for a little bit. It didn’t take long for the breathing of the guys to even out leaving Destiny and Jessa awake fighting giggles.

Seems like it wasn’t the Littles who really needed the naps. Destiny continued to lay there snuggled up to Papa as the thoughts began to formulate in her mind. Once again she was plagued with the idea that she was broken. Deciding that tomorrow, after the guys dropped them back off to Emmett and Rae’s house, she was going to bring it up and share her feelings to her sister. It was time someone else knew about the struggles she had been having.

“Hey D,” Jessa whispered. “Think we can slip out of the bed and go back to playing. We can play a video game! I think I saw a Wii in the living room. I wonder if they have a bowling game.”

Destiny knew that this wasn’t going to end well for them, but the idea of playing video games intrigued her. Of course Jessa would want to play a bowling game if they had it, but D could always persuade her to play something different after.

“Let’s do it, but we have to move really slowly. We don’t want to wake the Daddies’.”

Destiny wiggled her way towards the bottom of the bed, slipping out just as Jessa started her way down. Once they were both on the ground, they high-fived each other.

It must have been louder than they thought! Pops shifted in his sleep causing Destiny’s heart to race. When he settled back down, she led the way crawling out of the room. Once in the hallway, both girls stood and grinned at their success before heading to the living room.

Destiny started the Wii and found the remotes as Jessa found a bowling game to play. This was perfect!

Distracted with the game, which they were now playing baseball, neither girl heard the bedroom door open and footsteps heading down the hall.

A throat clearing made them jump, twisting around Destiny looked and there stood one very grumpy looking Pops. Uh oh, this isn’t going to be good at all.

“Imagine my surprise when I woke up to find myself snuggled up with Jackson, knowing I went to bed beside a certain, Little Bear.”

“Haha…Hi Pops! Did you have a good nap?” Jessa said, trying her best to look remorseful. Destiny decided to pull the same card. “Yeah, hi Pops! We hope you slept well.”

“I would have slept better if my Little Cubs had stayed in bed like they were told to.”

Papa walked into the room just as Pops was finishing his statement. Destiny hated the look of disappointment that crossed his face.

“Since Little girls seem to have a problem following the rules, perhaps they need a reminder. Wouldn’t you agree, Pops?”

“I do, and I have the perfect punishment in mind. Girls follow me please.”

Destiny placed the remote she still held in her hand on the table and dragged her feet following Pops. She dropped into the seat he pointed to, waiting to see what punishment he had in mind.

“You’re going to write twenty-five times,‘I will not disobey my Daddies’ when told to do something.’I want the words to be legible and neat.” Pops said as he placed paper and pencils in front of each of them.

“WHAT!” Jessa shouted!

“Shall I make it thirty-five lines?”

Destiny kicked Jessa under the table. “Shhhhh! Just do it! We don’t need more punishment!”

Destiny picked up her pencil and started writing her first sentence. This was going to take forever, she thought.

CHAPTER NINETEEN

JACKSON

Jackson stood at the kitchen counter watching the girls writing away. He still couldn’t believe the rascals crawled out of bed, leaving them behind asleep.

The sub in him thought the whole thing was hilarious, while the Daddy in him isn’t happy. Both sides of him admired that they were able to pull off such a task.

It was getting close to dinner time, and it was Jackson’s turn to cook. He walked over to the fridge and pulled out the ingredients he would need to make chicken casserole. It’s a quick but filling meal that doesn't require much prep work.
