I threw my head back and laughed. "We've already created a monster, haven't we?"

James chuckled. "Would you have it any other way?"

CHAPTER31

Bridget

Iwoke up slowly, my body deliciously worn out. I felt alive, like I’d never breathed until now. I sat up with my hair falling over my chest, and a few curls brushed Noah’s forehead. He was still out, snoring a little. James was on my other side. He was still asleep, too. I looked around for Lucas, and he wasn’t in the room.

The smell of coffee and bacon floated into the room. That’s where he was. I smiled, wiggling out of the bed as I did my best not to wake the guys. I even managed to get dressed.

My steps were quiet as I moved down the hallway. Even though I’d been cleaned up a little by the guys, a shower sounded like a really good idea. After I saw Lucas, and possibly had some coffee first.

The beta was at the stove, listening to music as he swayed his hips from side to side. He was singing under his breath, making me smile as I tip-toed toward him. My hands reached out, and I wrapped my arms around his middle in a tight hug from behind. Lucas didn’t even pause in his dance, not that I expected him to. He moved to his own beat.

“Why, good morning, my beautiful omega.” Lucas glanced over his shoulder down at me with a wicked grin. “We didn’t wear you out nearly enough if you’re walking so soon after that. Not even a limp or wince when you walk. We need to up our game.”

My hand slapped against his stomach as I buried my face in his shirt. “Lucas! You can’t say things like that!” Now, he wasn’t going to get that good morning kiss.

Lucas turned in my arms, cupping my cheeks with his hands. “Aw, don’t pout.” He smacked a loud and wet kiss on my lips before he pulled back and smushed my cheeks, making my lips pucker. He threw his head back as I glared up at him, unable to speak until he removed his hands. “You’re so adorable, I can’t even.” His shoulders were moving as he laughed at me.

When Lucas finally let my cheeks go, I rolled my eyes at him and gestured for him to lean forward so I could kiss him. As he did, I changed directions abruptly and took a long lick of my tongue along his chin and up to his cheek.

“Bleck!”

I cackled when he screwed up his face and wiped along his cheek. I had taken a few steps away from him, knowing he’d want revenge. A strange tinge of pain swept through my middle, but I played it off as a muscle strain. I had lost my virginity in epic fashion last night, so a few aches and pains were to be expected.

Lucas looked downright giddy as he wiggled his fingers, taking a step toward me. I was ready to run when the smell of something burning wafted through the air.

“Oh, crap!” Lucas quickly turned, pulled the pan away from the stove, and sighed. “At least it was just eggs.”

“That doesn’t happen very often.” Noah appeared in the doorway with his right forearm on the top of the door. He hadn’t brushed his hair yet, and his jeans were barely on his hips. They weren’t even buttoned, giving me a glorious sight of his happy trail and the dusting of hair that led down.

I felt my mouth water. I wondered if I could lick that trail. I had ignored it last night in favor of his cock, but I could make sure I hit it next time I sucked him.

Oh gosh. One night, and I’m addicted. Alena would have a blast when I told her how I was practically salivating looking at my men.

Noah strode into the room, covering his mouth as he yawned. “You hardly ever burn anything, Lucas.” He kissed the top of my head before kissing Lucas’s neck. “Coffee?”

Lucas gestured to the coffee pot as he eyed me from the side. “I’ll get you back, Bridget. Revenge will be sweet.” He licked his lips, and I laughed.

Arms wrapped around me from behind. I jumped as James nuzzled my neck from behind. My body melted into his as I pressed my back into his front. His alpha purr made me want to curl up on his chest.

“Our precious omega.” James licked my right ear, making me moan. He held me tighter. “If I didn’t have to take care of the animals, I’d haul you back to bed and continue making you scream my name.”

My knees suddenly felt weak. I was just about to agree when my phone rang. I sighed as James pulled back. My disappointment morphed into happiness as soon as I answered the phone.

“Alena! I was going to call you here in a little bit. How’d you know?” I laughed and moved to the breakfast table to sit.

“I’m just that good.” My bestie giggled. “You’re doing alright? Did you…?”

Her teasing made me squirm. “Yes. I did. They’re in the same room, too, so I’m not going to elaborate right now.”

Lucas laughed evilly from the stove. James smiled at me before grabbing his hat at the door. Noah finished his coffee with a large gulp and set the mug in the sink.

They all looked mighty smug right now. For all their past trauma, these guys sure were cocky sons of bitches.

“James and I need to do our morning chores. Don’t worry about your chores, baby girl.” He pressed a kiss to my forehead. “We’ll leave it to you to talk to Alena about your idea and we’ll talk to the whole pack later to finalize the deal.” Noah ruffled Lucas’s hair. “And you, no pranks for now.” He left with James, ignoring Lucas’s scrunched-up face and pout.
