“Good morning, sugar,” Lucas said, helping me sit up. “How ya feeling?”

“Like we all need to shower and then get some fresh air,” I said. Ben and Lachlan woke up, too, and both looked faintly surprised that they were still cuddled together. That would be an interesting conversation later on, but as long as they let me watch, I was a very, very happy Omega.

“Aw, the first heat’s over,” Ben pouted. He sat up, and Lachlan followed him, looking reluctant to let him go. “Good thing there are plenty more to come.”

I rolled my eyes, but smiled all the same.

“Shower or bath?” Soren asked me, running a hand throughhis hair.

“Shower,” I said. He nodded and hopped up to go start the water. “Do you guys want to… come with me?” After days of fucking everyone multiple times, I was suddenly unaccountable shy all over again.

“Of course, love,” Lachlan said, smiling at me and running his hand down Ben’s back. His scar pulled a little at the corner of his eye when he smiled and it made my heart flip.

“Lead the way,” Ben said.

Soren was at the entrance to the bathroom from the nest and greeted me with a sticky hug and a soft kiss. Lucas, Ben, and Lachlan made their way to the shower, and I took a moment to appreciate the connection we’d made during my heat. The thread between us pulsed softly as I threaded my arms around his neck. After a few moments, he broke the kiss to lay his forehead against mine.

“Hi,” I said, grinning, and a flash of amusement came down the bond.

“Hey,” he said, smiling back. “I… I’m not good at saying how I feel. Ever. But this… you…” He took a deep breath, and I felt his anxiety through the thread connecting us.

“Is everything okay?” I asked, stepping in closer to him.

“Yes, baby girl,” he said and he took another steadying breath. “I just… I love you. You can probably feel it already, in here,” he tapped over my heart. “But I wanna say it, too. Cause I do. Love you.”

A rush of love and tenderness swelled through me, my own and Soren’s feelings mingling until it was almost overwhelming. I crushed myself against his chest. “I love you, too,” I whispered in his ear. “And now you’re mine forever,” I said and stroked across the bite mark on his neck.

Soren shivered under my touch. “Alright, get in the shower before I pull you back in that nest,” he said and slapped my ass just hard enough to make me squeal and run under the warm spray.

After showering, we went downstairs and ate a truly alarming amount of Chinese food Lucas had ordered. It was Tuesday afternoon and we’d been locked in the nest for twodayswhile they all fucked me senseless.

While we ate, I went over the speech I had worked on in my head. The only thing that kept me from spiraling completely was that connection to Soren. Even if everyone else had changed their minds, I knew I had a future with him.

“I should probably call Kira,” I said reluctantly. “She’s gonna be so pissed I went MIA for two days.”

“We called her,” Lucas said reassuringly. “She knew you were safe.”

“Oh god, that might be worse,” I said, groaning. “She’s going to be so nosy.”

I was right.

“Tell me everything, but don’t be too graphic, but also I need to know EVERYTHING,” Kira said as soon as she picked up the call.

“Hi, Kira,” I said, smirking at the guys as I edged out of the room and up the stairs. “Everyone heard that.”

“Bitch, I do not care. How was it?!”

I sighed and looked over my shoulder to make sure none of the guys had followed me, then sat down at the top of the steps. “It was fucking incredible,” I whispered.

“I knew it! God, you’re so lucky. I can’t even get one guy to fuck me nowadays,” she said wistfully. “Who was the biggest freak?”

“Kira! I’m not talking about this with you. You’re my sister!”

“This is SO unfair,” Kira yelled. She took a deep breath. “But also, I’m obviously super happy for you. Seriously, are you good?”

“I’m good,” I said. “I’m exhausted, but… I know what I want.”

“What do you mean?” Kira asked.
