She leaned forward to brush the horse, pushing her bottom back into him, and talking sweetly to the horse. “What a good boy. At leastyouknow how to do the right thing.”

Hearing a half stifled groan, she pushed further back and extended her arm to pat the horse’s neck. “Yes, you’re a good boy.”

“Is that what you want, Peaches? A good boy?”

Her nipples instantly hardened against her stays as she sat up. She writhed her bottom up onto his swelling arousal. “I want whatever you’re giving.”

She pushed her right shoulder into his chest and inclined her head to the left, exposing her neck.

He plundered her shoulder and the side of her throat. Then his hands were sweeping up her ribs, on both sides. The ambush forced her head back into his chest and his grands palmed her breasts, one in each gloriously warm massage.

“Jonathan,” she throbbed. Her hands flew behind her head to grasp his hair, pulling him closer. It wasn’t enough. She withdrew one hand and grabbed his thigh, feeling his fiery strength.

“Yes, Peaches?” He teased.

“I need you. Now Jonathan, damn you.”

Jonathan stopped the horse and threw the reins overhead, dismounting in one fell swoop. The horse stood perfectly still as he grabbed Margaret, pulling her tumbling down into the long grass.

In all of this, he was a blur to her, but she knew he had removed any trace of levity from face. His hands were on her waist again. This time he was twirling her around to straddle him. His lips were all over her neck and then burning trails all the way down her chest.

Her skirts were up to her hips, and he had placed her cunny right on top of his shaft. Keeping the layers of clothing between them, he pulled her close. One heated hand was under her bottom, and the other had a vice grip on her hip. He was moving her inches at a time, back and forth over his hard length. Every movement was excruciating pleasure.

“There, Jonathan. Yes. Yes.”

“Come for me, darling.”

The tingling sensations overtook her body and white blinded her closed eyes. “Always,” inaudibly broke from her lips.

Jonathan growled into the sky with his head thrown back, molding her against his body. He was pure man. Red-hot, growling, fully himself, and fully man.

Chapter 10

THATMORNING,JONATHANINCREASEDhis efforts to appear engaged in the monotony of playing chess. At the moment, his index finger was over his mouth to convey a pondering posture, when in fact it was shrouding a yawn.

Bugsby glided in the room carrying a tray with a calling card. With a bow, he offered it to Jonathan.

Straining to stifle jumping from his seat, Jonathan reached for the card. “Dr. Walker? Well, I’ll be. I wasn’t sure he would make the trek. Please show him in.”

“Yes, Your Grace.” And within a few short minutes, Bugsby was announcing Dr. Phillip Walker to the drawing room.

Jonathan sauntered over and clasped the doctor’s hand in his, despite the norm to refrain from physical displays of sentiment. And then, just to truly flaunt the norm, he drew the nonplussed doctor into a one arm hug with a pat on the back.

“So glad you could make it Doc.” Jonathan turned to Lyle, gesturing to Dr. Walker, “This is the man who saw to my sanity and even welcomed me into his own home.”

Lyle stood and dipped his head, “I’ve heard much about you. It’s a pleasure to finally meet you Dr. Walker.”

“The pleasure is mine.”

“I believe the game Jonathan and I were playing was nigh finished, and I was just about to take my leave for some exercise. I’ll leave you two to catch up, and I’ll see you this evening, I’m sure.”

“Yes of course.”

As Lyle left the room, Jonathan repeated his elation at having the doctor here at Chatsworth.

“How could I decline a short stay at such an estimable estate?” He returned the pat on Jonathan’s shoulder. “So Jonathan, my boy, you now have a name, hmm?” The lack of proper ducal address failed to offend Jonathan given the doctor’s avuncular disposition and mutual affection. “And some pieces are starting to come together to shape for you an impression of who you were. How is everything settling for you?” The doctor tapped his head, “In here?”

“Well, I haven’t quite woken up yet,”Jonathan jested. “But I sure hope it happens sooner rather than later.”
